Last week, we talked about this important Kansas City political development and now the presser is hitting local e-mail blasts.
TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! THE EFFORT TO TAKE BACK THE MISSOURI HOUSE STARTS WITH KANSAS CITY DEMOCRATS RALLYING AROUND DARON MCGEE!!!
It'll be a tough fight but Kansas City Democrats showing their support for new leadership AND diversity is a good start. Checkit:
Daron McGee Chosen as Democratic Candidate for 36th District Special Election
Daron McGee, a lifelong resident of south Kansas City, obtained the nomination to Missouri’s 36nd House District on Tuesday August 11, 2015. The candidate has launched his campaign for the November 3rd Special Election. McGee, a Public Administration professional who has dedicated his life to community service, is a strong leader who will move the 36th district forward, ensuring strong democratic values are present in Jefferson City.
“I am humbled and honored by the confidence that the committee has placed in me. I am looking forward to working hard on behalf of the citizens of 36th District”, says McGee.
Mcgee works as a Program Administrator for Jackson County COMBAT, the Community Backed Anti-Drug Tax Program. As the son of a Teamster, he knows the importance of protecting Missouri’s working families, ensuring their best interest are being served, such as fighting Right to Work in the State of Missouri.
“At COMBAT, I implement community engagement strategies that relate to crime prevention in Jackson County. A focal point of my campaign is engaging residents and ensuring there will be a strong voice in Jefferson City representing them.”
McGee launched his campaign for State Representative for the Democratic party because he is committed to Kansas City. McGee serves on the Bacchus Foundation, the Board of City Trust, the Neighborhood Tourism and Development Fund and South Kansas City Alliance. McGee is also a member of Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church.

Developing . . .
There might be people who talk smack but Daron does good work. And maybe he can share with his constituents what he knows about COMBAT, which is a program that your readers ought to know more about.
ReplyDeleteHe will lose.
ReplyDeleteYou city folk are kinda funny. It seems like all these political people are always "smiling".
ReplyDeleteDown our way, when you seem someone smiling like they just stole your best coon dog, well that did.
Better check that boys truck for coon dogs. He sure is smiling. Jus sayin.
Hey Flint, what a disgustin person you are.
ReplyDeleteDemocrats in MIssouri don't have a chance.
ReplyDelete5:47 and your a outstanding person ? Hardly. Give up the coon dog. Thief.
ReplyDeleteOr should we say Thief Byron.
What kind of asshole calls someone disgusting for asking why a thieving politician is smiling.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I agree totally with Flint Lock. If they are smiling you know they got their hand in your pocket and a death grip on your wallet, or as Flint said, they got your coon dog.
When someone post a comment and doesn't use profanity, or a racist name and you call them disgusting, nah. It you that's disgusting. Now apologize to Flint asshole.
I'm not real sure being involved with the COMBAT program is exactly a good thing to emphasize on your resume' for making believe you're a supporter for good government and accountable spending.
ReplyDeleteA serious audit of COMBAT might not be "career enhancing".
And what, exactly, is the $15-20 million a year been getting us?
A cocksucker NIGGER and no doubt about it. Is this what KC wants? A fucking NIGGER, who gets off on sucking dicks????
ReplyDeleteCOMBAT -,Ineffective. Inefficient. Boondoggle. So let's reward mediocrity.
ReplyDeleteResume of a grifter. What took him so long to step up to the trough?
ReplyDeleteWho are the birds of the feather?
ReplyDeleteSince when did being a member of a church qualify as an actual job or accomplishment. The black grifter will take nothing and try to make it something, even if its shit.
ReplyDeleteOld cocksuck mcgee. Come a long way from 5th place in grandview debate
ReplyDeleteHe will be a honest leader if nothing else. I hope he has the courage to stand up and fight for the lives of his black constituents. Support a crime clean sweep and let the police take out the trash that is leaving bodies littering the east side. It will take a strong black leader to stand up in both public and in the privacy of the black community meetings and tell the truth. The blame the white man game is killing you and if you want to stop the killing you must look within your community for answers.
ReplyDeleteI'm white and I care whether you want to believe it or not. I'm also frustrated with your way of responding to what is clearly a cultural problem within your community. You are killing you.
Stop blaming whites.
Start holding your own accountable.
Start helping authorities identify the perpetrators.
Tell leaders who shift blame to step aside.
Band together against drug sales and use.
You can solve this yourselves if you have the will.
If you fail to report crimes you are just as guilty.
Every time someone dies and you know who killed them you helped murder them.
If you take no action besides watching more and more people die there will be a special place in hell for you no matter how many times you go to church or praise God and say you are blessed.
How much do Black lives matter to you? Talk is cheap.
Time for some black to tell 10:29 that they don't need no lip from a white person about their problems in 10.9.8.7.6......
ReplyDeleteDoes he even fit within the residency requirements? Also, did he take pto days from the "good work he does on combat" to help people loose their campaigns?
ReplyDeleteNow ^^^ should be "developing"
