Recently, newbie Jackson County legislator Frank White announced that he would return to the K soon for a bit of reconciliation with the Kansas City Royals.
It's a nice statement but a bit of a fib. The former Royals slugger was in the stands for the world series but he left early and didn't really make a big deal of it. Still, the double play didn't miss the eye of our more astute TKC readers.

Talk about pandering. This guy gets elected to the county legislature that pulls the money strings out at the stadium and all of a sudden the Royals want to be his good old buddy again. How sweet!

ReplyDeleteI think Mr. Frank White is a new start for Jackson County. Good grief, those people stay far too long. Even Tindall is still lurking around handling Combat Anti drug money. Why is he still there? If Dan Tarwater thinks he can run for County Exec THINK AGAIN! He is allowing all sorts of mischief and not saying a word about the misappropriation of County resources. He is part of the problem.
I hope Skippy gets his frequently unemployed wife that Independence Tourism Director job before his ass is grass in the Courthouse.
