ReplyDeleteReally? I'm having a hard time believing this story. The woman accepted the job; knew full and well during the course of her job that they were intentionally wait listing people who were in dire need of medical care. What she did was sat on her butt and instead of reporting it, lazily went along with it - because like most people in her position, she didn't care. As long as she could be gainfully employed and get the latest gossip, she was fine with whatever the organization was doing. I'm pretty sure there was an Ombudsman that she could have reported the situation to but did not. She, along with others should be fired. She was part of the problem. This is the image of the typical government worker.

ReplyDeleteIN KCMO, go to any government building and it's filled with black women who are bad at their jobs and and have poor customer service skills.
Maybe the city would be better run if KCMO would have more white people at those jobs then blacks?
I deal with the VA on a regular basis, and strictly avoid any contact with a NIGGER, wherever possible. Yes, the VA is awash with these animals and it is tough to go around them. On the other hand, it's definitely worth it and will make your life and your health care much better, if you can avoid the groid! No shit,don't talk to, acknowledge or say "hi" to a fucking NIGGER, if you can possibly help it.

ReplyDeleteThe problem is nothing changed after this gal left. I don't think the public gets how fucked up the VA really is. It took me over 2 1/2 years to get my first appointment in KC. During tests they found blood in my stool and sent me a cancer scare letter stating I needed an immediate colonoscopy. They finally got it done eight months later.
ReplyDeleteI went to the emergency room with a hand that was swollen up twice its size and red. The emergency room doctor refused to touch me saying I had to get to radiology because he was sure there was a blockage and if it broke loose we were in trouble. Took radiology 8 fucking weeks to get me in. You believing that shit?
I have spent almost 2 years trying to get carpal tunnel surgery after being diagnosed at the VA. One of the things you discover about the VA is you don't have very good oe competent surgeons. Many were educated back in the 70s and employ antiquated surgical technics, a good number had the shit sued out of them in the civilian world so they went to the VA where their incompetent asses are covered many of the rest are residents who are pretty much just hanging out and screwing the pooch until they get their residency covered and move on. They don't have the authority to get anything productive done. Much of the time the VA farms out surgery to local hospitals to cover their asses and waste money.
It takes multiple appointments to get to see the person who will actually do something because those appointments are jobs for bureaucrats. If you have the simplest of issues they will send your ass all over the place over several months when the whole fucking world knows what is wrong with you and what treatment needs to be employed. Each time you get a new appointment it takes six to eight weeks and each time one quack gets through with you they send you back to your primary care provider to start all over. This is the biggest waste of fucking money you can imagine. But please consider that the Veterans are often in pain and suffering while these mother fuckers play their game. They are supposed to have the veterans choice program that fixed all this shit, but that program is damn near broke because everyone is using it.
Finally, It is fact that the VA lies in your medical records and they manipulate appointments. I will gladly take a polygraph on this one. It is a regular occurrence.
The bureaucracy in the VA Centers is ungoldly. You drive by the KC VA and you see three towers and eleven floors. What you don’t see is the ONLY hospital rooms in the whole fucking place are located on a portion of a single floor. ALL the rest of it is bureaucratic horseshit that has build up over the decades. They are even opening up remote clinics to make more room for the bureaucracy. It is not just KC either. This shit is going on at every Va Medical Center in the country. So next time you think you are driving past that big ol' VA Hospital just remember you are driving by a VA Center with a few patient room and a shit load of bureaucrats.
As long as congress keeps tossing money at it and refuses to roll up the sleeves and fix this clusterfuck things will never change.
It should also be noted that all of this crap is going on at KC where they will smile and tell you they have never had a single instance of this horseshit and they provide world class medical care. BULLSHIT!
