Here is the latest election development that should keep the Summer interesting and offer more reasons for fighting in the 4th & throughout the metro ...
FIRST ON TKC!!! COUNCILMAN GLOVER ASKS FOR RECOUNT!!!
Here is the presser and a legit complaint amid the razor thin margin of victory for Katy Shields...
Developing...
Bye Jim
ReplyDeleteDon't let the door hit you in your fat ass on the way out.
Go Jim!
ReplyDeleteHahahhahahahhahahahahahahah!
ReplyDeleteGet it "gay"-c light rail!!!
Hahahhahahahhahahahahahaha!
What a fucking time warp you anti-transit dipshits live in...
How often do you ride the bus ?
DeleteWon't change the dreadful outcome.
ReplyDeleteRecall will not prevail with a win. Seldom does.
ReplyDeleteUh 12:18 who lives in a time warp? Have you looked in the mirror lately.
ReplyDeleteBuh Bye Jim!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memories
We'll miss Jim grandstanding for photo op's in his toy train choo choo conductors hat.
ReplyDeleteCan we sign a counter petition to insure this guy never screws over taxpayers again?
ReplyDeleteWas Diebold contracted to tabulate these KC votes?
ReplyDeleteAsk Al Gore and the whistleblowers about accuracy and recounts.
Not a proponent of Glover, or anyone, just pointing at a reason for distrust and apathy by voters in the good 'ol USA.
The downtown streetcar system is on schedule, under budget and will be running early next year, officials reported Thursday to the city council. It is already a success, Mayor Sly James said, and get ready for a popular effort to take an extension down Main Street to UMKC. Midtown KC Post
ReplyDeleteClank Clank Clank Goes the Trolley!!!
ReplyDeleteDing Ding Ding goes the bell!!!
Dumb Ass! Next time run in a jurisdiction that has someone who can count. It is obvious no one in the Western Missouri bureaucracy can add 2 + 2 add get it right.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I hope that he does win the recount. People aren't prepared for what kind of monster Kathryn Shields will be for the council.
ReplyDeleteKatheryn should still be in prison for orchestrating vote fraud in the 1982 Democratic Primary, where Freedom Inc. "found" votes for Alan Wheat.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting a new campaign: Save KC From Kathryn Shields!
ReplyDeleteIt's really the only hope of this city against one of the most corrupt politicians KCMO has ever seen.
Seems like he's petty...
ReplyDeleteKaty will win because she always does well in Courtrooms.
ReplyDeleteIt appears that Phil and Katheryn have two Glover problems, but only one that they should be scared of...and it's not Jim.
ReplyDeleteIt's Maurice.
I've heard that amoung other things, he doesn't like to pay taxes and may be the recipient of a lien. Is this true? Did Phil or Katheryn make the decision to hire him? Actually it really doesn't matter because Katheryn will likely throw Phil under the bus in any event.
Word is that Katheryn testified under oath, while under indictment for mortgage fraud, that she did not ask or know the purchase price of her home before she signed the closing documents. She's an eight year city council veteran and a 12 year County Executive, can that actually be true?
Found guilty of violating the Sunshine Law, investigated by the FBI for bribery, indicted for mortgage fraud, and now a Glover problem.
Trouble follows that poor woman.
Nice try 314 but check your facts. Maurice Glover belongs to George Gates who was with Glover not Shields.
ReplyDeleteIf we're talking Maurice with Husch Blackwell, then its no bueno. Katy will win.
ReplyDeleteThe Glover camping didn't hire Maurice. The Shields campaign did. Two payments of $833 each.

ReplyDeleteOn its final financial report before the election, "Shields for the City" lists payments to:
gLOVER CONSULTING SERVICES
2501 E. 12TH
KANSAS CITY MO 64127
Which is registered to Maurice Leroy Glover, who was a very busy man in April because he fails to pay his city or state taxes.
See Missouri CaseNet
Case Number 1516-CV02766 (Judge Weir)
Case Number 1516-MC51545 (Judge Vitale)
So yes, Ms. Shields hired tax a scofflaw as an organizer. That seems rather odd for a person who has a pretty soiled record in public service to do if she really wanted to show she has changed?
I do hope Jim won. Katheryn Shields simply lacks character. I do not understand how people could vote for her.
ReplyDeleteEither way, the residents of KCMO lose big time.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it an odd that you're constantly confronted with these kinds of choices trying to elect just 13 people our of 470,000?
Over and over again!
Jim is not really the neighborhood advocate that he used to be. He has spent too much time kissing developers' asses to still be that.
ReplyDeleteBut Katherine is a crook. A recount that goes the right way might just be the best channce to keep that crook out of local government.
Jim Glover really does smell bad.
ReplyDeleteHeard Jim is toast. Recounted the recount and he still lost.
ReplyDeleteHeard Jimmy is going to have to renew his law license!
ReplyDeleteJim should pursue a recount. With the race being so close maybe a few ballots were missed.
