"De’Anthony Wiley will not participate in the preliminary hearing because his attorney says he is going to plead guilty to Felony Murder. Wiley’s Attorney says he is not admitting to being the gunman, but admitting that the murder occurred in the course of the robbery in which he was involved . . .The formal guilty plea will take place at a hearing in August. There is no plea agreement and at this point and Wiley is not scheduled to be a witness for the prosecution."

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why you think people should not criticize your nephew. He made a stupid choice, and still hasn't owned up to it. Asking for forgiveness is pointless until he has owned up to his part in what happened that winter day.
If he were truly seeking forgiveness (or you on his behalf), he/you would be pleading guilty immediately, and taking a life sentence without parole with a smile on his lips and a song in his heart.
Until then, you (and he) just speak empty, insincere words.
