    Who in the United States calls football players, "Footballers"? Berry doesn't play for London Canon United Real FC.

    The dictionaries show the term is correct for American football team members. 'Player' is interchangeable for footballer, basketballer, baseballer, and softballer--so let TKC have his way. He's gonna keep it up if you raise issue, haven't you noticed that?
