The back story here is that the slapfight betwixt Mayor Holland and Ann Murguia is getting even worse . . . It was my understanding the ethics review cleared Murguia of any violations. Mayor/Rev Holland needs to get off his high horse, quit acting like he is better then others. Look at the progress in Argentine. Then go tour his healthy campus downtown (let me know when you find it). He is just getting tired of Murguia showing him how to get things done. Hell just last week he had to ask for a extension on the Healthy campus why you ask because he can't get it done!

ReplyDeleteIs it just me or does Holland no understand that this ethics commission is not a toy for him to play with to push his dirty politics? His record with turning Ann in for "violations" have been never worked in his favor. It's obvious by the Maddox ordeal that Rev Holland doesn't play fair. He kept his mouth shut during that episode but when Ann voluntarily helps another NFP, he calls ethics. It's no wonder he can't get anything done in the county. Healthy campus? That's a joke! 3 years running and asking for more time. GIVE IT UP! Go back to the church where you funneled money and let Ann work the magic for the rest of the county.

ReplyDeleteLet's forget about the under performing TIF at the Sav-A-Lot ($16,000 dollars that the Unified Government must cover this year). Let's not even mention the $50,000 the Polsenelli' attorneys (same attorneys that worked the LANE4 deal with the Wal-Marts) raised for her failed mayoral bid. We won't even mention her attempt to circumvent the process of awarding monies to a neighborhood group using a stolen federal tax ID # (all the while blaming the county administrator and public works director and making an unsuspecting neighborhood leader the scapegoat in her shenanigans). We won't dare talk about her funneling money to ABC for the purchase of lawn mowers to mow vacant ANDA properties. We dare never talk about her attempt to shake down HHS with a bogus grant ask for 'healthy argentine' by bringing a Dunkin' Donuts to her brownfield ( that should go well with the Zumba crowd). Let's talk about the latest attempt of a political official trying to benefit from FEDERAL money. No black marker can redact her attempt at defrauding HUD. I am NO fan of the Mayor Rev. but enough is enough. What's next?
