TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! CELEBRATE SCIENTIFIC BLOGGY POLLING PROJECTIONS FOR KANSAS CITY MAYORAL AND COUNCIL ELECTION 2015!!!

Tonight our blog community provides the only real insight into the upcoming election that other Kansas City media outlets are too scared to share.
A reminder, these projections DO NOT COUNT AS AN ENDORSEMENT, we're calling this thing like a boxing match or a football game and simply sharing the research we have compiled.
The results of this polling data are cyphered through our blog community, data from off-record pollsters, KICK-ASS INSIDERS, TOP ECHELON KANSAS CITY LEADERS, public opinion analysis and media trend-spotting. This analysis is comprised of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of data points.
Our margin of error is +/- 2 points
To wit . . .
THE TKC BLOG COMMUNITY PROJECTIONS FOR KANSAS CITY MAYORAL AND COUNCIL ELECTION 2015 REVEAL MORE THAN A FEW SURPRISES AND A SHOCKING SNEAK PEEK VOTER NUMBERS!!!
MSM never shares these kind of deets because they say it drives people away from the polls. We call BS on that notion. More likely, they don't share the numbers because they have biases of their own and they're too afraid if standing up to politicos.
As always, our blog community would rather share the data and let readers decide.
Quick note about the numbers: We're counting in terms of points and once the count goes past 20, it wasn't worth it to keep collecting the data. These projections should be easy enough to understand and read a lot like handicapping football games.
Mayoral Election: TKC Projected Winner By 20 Points+ -- Incumbent Mayor Sly James

The biggest challenge to Mayor Sly in this election was his taxes and explaining to friends in the media that he has basically embarrassed them.
1st District At-Large

TKC Projected Winner: Incumbent Scott Wagner By 20 Points+
Anybody who can get a photo of his opponent earns 10K worthless TKC bonus points.
1st District

TKC Projected Winner: Heather Hall +5 Points
Supporters of Councilman Davis say that they have closed the gap after an overwhelming defeat in the primary. Our blog community believes that the Northland is still increasingly conservative just like Hall and will continue to support her grassroots candidacy.
2nd District At-Large

TKC Projected Winner: Teresa Loar +8 Points
Jay Hodges simply started too late and his campaign strategy was mixed and mired in forces beyond his control. An affiliation with Mayor Sly James didn't help him. Loar is the projected winner with solid support on the East Side, Midtown, Northland and far better name ID.
2nd District
WINNER: DAN FOWLER
Dan Fowler's opponent dropped out. Most insiders overwhelming support and offer high praise of the incoming Councilman.
3rd District At-Large

TKC PROJECTED WINNER: QUINTON LUCAS 20 POINTS+
Quinton Lucas has racked up an EPIC amount of campaign cash and endorsements. Most people who meet him would rather vote for him as Mayor. Among the local elite and grassroots activists, he is the new rock star of Kansas City politics.
3rd District

TKC Projected Winner: Councilman Jermaine Reed 10 Points+
Councilman Reed simply has a superior campaign infrastructure and while Ms. Kendrix easily outmatched him in public forums and community sentiment among residents, without the money she was unable to mobilize her support.
4th District At-Large

TKC PROJECTED WINNER: INCUMBENT COUNCILMAN JIM GLOVER +3 POINTS
This one is nearly too close to call. Our blog community believes that Councilman Glover's insider connections and better name ID throughout Kansas City will carry him to a razor thin margin of victory.
4th District

TKC PROJECTED WINNER: JOLIE JUSTUS 20 POINTS+
Two very nice people representing areas that have absolutely nothing in common with one another thanks to the screwed up design of local voting districts.
5th District At-Large

TKC PROJECTED WINNER: LEE BARNES, JR. 20 POINTS+
We believe election cash and endorsements offer a preview of this race with the caveat that even the candidacy of Mr. Barnes in which he valiantly battled and eliminated a carpet bagger from another city reveals that the at-large districts are nothing more than a legacy of segregation. Mr. Anthony would make an EXCELLENT councilman in a district that was more representative of his neighborhood.
5th District

TKC PROJECTED WINNER: KEN BACCHUS +5 POINTS
Name recognition, support from Jackson County Legislator and baseball legend Frank White along with a renewed commitment to "walking the district" might lead Mr. Bacchus back to the City Council. Meanwhile, Ms. Canady was hurt in a last minute move that aligned her with Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Circo ... One of the most unpopular politicos ever to hold office in KC History.
6th District At-Large

Winner: Incumbent Councilman Scott Taylor
His next big challenge will be the Jackson County Exec spot and finding another appropriate cheerleader gig for his power broker better half Cathy Jolly.
6th District

TKC PROJECTED WINNER: KEVIN McMANUS 20 POINTS +
Nash is the more knowledgeable, community orientated and an altogether better candidate . . . But hundreds of thousands from a Missouri war chest was simply too much to overcome.

Again, it deserve repeating that THESE PROJECTIONS ARE NOT ENDORSEMENTS . . . We're simply compiling the data for readers to discuss and debate. Feel free to hold us accountable for these numbers but notice that nobody else in all of the metro is offering any other projection data to better inform voters.

All of these outcomes are not definite and we encourage Kansas City to vote early (not often) tomorrow.
Developing . . .
I challenge you TKC.
ReplyDeleteI challenge you to run for office and put your numbers out there and see how much support in KC you really have.
That will be something better for you to work upon.
What the Mayor, City Hall and their Downtown Development and the Streetcar is creating is a social, transportation, and housing apartheid in KC.
ReplyDeleteExpect more of the same.
You need to look up the word "apartheid", Francis. Them take a
DeleteCouple deep breaths and settle the fuck down. Dipshits like you make everyone who opposes transit seem like ranting fucking lunatics. Save it for you save our whatever Facebook page.
@8:44 Cheerleading for the TIF grifters again, because you're drunk on the Kool-Ade.
Delete@8:28 That is apt use of the word apartheid. The debt loaded eco-devos are sure to benefit the 'haves' loads, while the 'have nots' will have even less well into their grandchildren's senior years. Loans are available at banks for hotels, airports, and novelty trolleys. Taxes need to go for education pre K to 12, sewers, sidewalks, roads, homes, and healthcare FIRST.
P&L, still not paying for itself. ENOUGH moneygrabs already.
The Stars endorsements are pretty much based upon their hope of getting their tax abatement's approved, rubber stamped and renewed.
ReplyDeleteLucas can't be trusted. He's one "of them".
ReplyDeleteIf this poll is right, it will be great to have Bachuus back in a place where he can get his hands on taxpayers' money.
ReplyDeleteAlthough Sly and the gang have done an admirable job at blowing even more cash than they can count and committing the city to decades of debt that will be hanging on long after the public has lost interest and support for their grandiose projects, there's really no one in recent memory who can make public money disappear into thin air like Bachuus.
Better get your requests in.
The magic is about to start!
Whats the matter 8:44. Did I hit a nerve or something?
ReplyDeleteNope 8:48. Your just a fucking moron who got called out.
DeleteAfter all the unethical things Loar did in office last time? Why vote for her? City's legal fund can't support her after Funkhouser, Brooks, and the other before them, including Loar. I thought we wanted NEW blood and no more "crooked" council members. Why bring back a known one that saved herself by wearing a wire and turning her buddies in crime over to the feds????? Wake up, KCMO!!!!!
ReplyDeletePAM ANDERSON +2 Points...way up firm and high!
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9WII3ShrFU
Be interesting to see who our next set of game show hosts are.
ReplyDeleteNo Mensa's in this bunch?
ReplyDeleteSly will be singing the National Anthem at his swearing in ceremony.
ReplyDeleteOh say can you SIH!
Followed by Ding Ding Ding goes the trolley
Thanks! LMAO! @9:19
DeleteList seems about right, except for the part about Nash. He's neither capable nor qualified. He's just an old asshole who knows about half of what he needs to and makes up the rest from delusion, paranoia and misanthropic fantasy. His "understanding" of the budget is about as half baked as his "focus on neighborhoods", which is something you should ask his neighbors about. Agreeing with your anti transit bias is not the same as being knowledgable.
ReplyDeleteKEVIN McMANUS let me guess he'll come out with his toy train conductors hat and ray gun t-shirt?
ReplyDeleteHe's definitely the enemy if you give a shit about where your tax money goes.
ReplyDeleteDowntown PAC endorses James, Davis, Wagner, Fowler, Loar, Reed, Lucas, Justus, Glover, Barnes, McManus & Taylor.
ReplyDeleteAny other questions?
Whatever happens we're gonna fight these two faced lying corrupt wannabe's who side with Sly's agenda till the last man standing.
ReplyDeleteBring it on
Leave the drunk Irish terrorist Jay Hodges out of office.... hes a bully, bully, bully and will only turn business and opportunities away from KC like he did when driving the Mayor around town.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry under Sly's leadership there is gonna be plenty of beer, parties, and food trucks for all!
ReplyDeletePlus! We're gonna give the Star subsidies so they can continue to bring you the latest newz!
ReplyDeleteAnd this poll is SCIENTIFIC. To Wit! Whilst anything might happen, science is always correct! Even if the results don't match up.
ReplyDeleteThere are effectively no tools left for Sly and Crew to deal with another major crisis. They have no Plan B. They’re completely defenseless in the event of a major shock. We should all take a moment to appreciate this level of incompetence. This doesn’t happen overnight. It usually takes decades of “blunder and neglect” to engineer financial vulnerability on this scale. But they’ve somehow managed to pull it off in four years.
ReplyDelete8:28 PM Hits the nail on the head.
ReplyDeleteSouthern clay county isn't conservative. They still have a Democratic commissioner and a Democratic state rep. Plus people south if vivon won't vote for a fake like Hall.
ReplyDeleteI'll tell you this, if Sly's people are elected they will bankrupt KC. Bond rating is already unstable.

If you're here reading it at 11:08 at night on a Monday, and then participating in the forum then it's a matter of fact that you're just bitching about a blog you love and follow relentlessly.
ReplyDeleteCome to terms with it, embrace it.
And don't forget to vote, bitch.
Pamela has my 4 and 1/2 point salute!
ReplyDeleteSly wins = Kansas City loses.
ReplyDeleteExpect more shit to overflow in the Jackson County Jail
ReplyDeleteIs anyone voting to retain those KC Municipal Court Judges?
ReplyDeleteOr do we need some new faces?
What r their positions on the TOY TRAIN BOKNDOGGLE!
ReplyDeleteIt's like slavery and also the holocaust! THEY PUT THE JEWS ON TRAINS!!!!!!!
Wake up all aboard toot toot your a hoot! We will fight sly and the clear will of voters in the heart of the city! Everyone will bow down to our suburban ideas!!!!!
The TV news media no longer makes predication; in fact, doesn't even give a noon count any more because it leads to biased voting. Most people will vote for whoever the news says is in the lead because they figure to do otherwise would be a wasted vote. Too bad Tony has decided to give the edge to some very bad candidates.
ReplyDeleteI usually wouldn't vote for a conservative bitch like Heather Hall but I vote for her because she'll be the only one who won't kiss Sly's ass.
