THE TKC SATURDAY NIGHT PLAYLIST!!! CONSTANT KANSAS CITY PROBLEMS FACE ROLLING STONES FANS TONIGHT!!!

This evening old school Rock & Roll fans will contribute to the coffers of one of the world's most overrated bands as The Rolling Stones play Arrowhead tonight.
Of course our blog community had to weigh in . . .
To start, the Polar Bear shared some check-in consumer complaints and reminds us of the tumultuous racial history of the nearby Adam's Mark Hotel that's now earning quite a bit of scorn from pissed off customers . . . He can feel free to post his remarks in the comments because tonight's post is more of a retrospective of the KC Rolling stones performance overall . . .
Quick Top 5 List Of Kansas City Problems Facing Rolling Stones Fans
1. Surprise, Arrowhead Is In Kansas City's Embattled 3rd District
Denizens of this concert might want to know that they're rocking out in a district that's home to the so-called MURDER FACTORY in Kansas City and to a disproportionate number of local homicides despite a widely unreported tweak in homicide stats.
Side note . . . Not so far away 18th and Vine will be mostly empty and that's the origin point for many of the blues/jazz source material inspiring so many hits the Stones pilfered from African-American musicians.
2. Only Corporate Welfare Will Pay For A Convention Hotel
Nights like this one remind us that Kansas City really does need more hotel space BUT we're only getting it by way of massive subsidies that threaten to bankrupt this town.
3. Lights Out After The Show
Late night Kansas City entertainment is mostly a bad joke and Westport is far too dangerous an option.
4. Power Play Problems
As we blogged earlier, there are power problems facing hotel patrons by the stadium . . . Apparently, the problem is fixed but not soon enough for inconvenienced fans. This is part of Kansas City's overall FAIL to cleanup following Summer rain.
5. Last Stop Kansas City
Of course we realize the Stones have an EPIC catalog but let's not pretend that Kansas City is pretty much one of the low points in their destination and they're basically jetting into town and getting out as soon as possible . . . Talk of the stones hanging around KC is nothing but media manufactured hype.
And all of this has inspired tonight's playlist . . .
As always, thanks for reading this week and have a safe and fun Saturday Night.
stones overrated?
ReplyDeleteSuck my balls.
So all that traffic flogging the hiway is for a bunch Kf geriatric British hasbeens?
ReplyDeleteHaha, entertaining piece.
ReplyDeleteSly James comes out of the closet!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGubbermint oF CKMO Mayoral Selfie Of The Day
Never saw a guy hate a place this much and yet stick around for more.
ReplyDeleteThe Stones were great! Plus there were no niggers and no nigger music which isn't really music, just a fucking bunch of shitty noise that sounds like how niggers smell which is like rancid feces.

ReplyDeleteYou PIMP Toni Bones and you SLAM the Rolling Stones, perhaps the best R&R band of all time.
TKC...You got a lot of class. Too bad it's all Third.
ReplyDeleteJesus TKC...quit your fucking non-stop whining already!
You are correct that 18th & Vine is rat-fucked. But you won't say why -- you never do. You know why but you don't have the balls to say it. Likewise with other violence at area entertainment districts.
And you wonder why the city concentrates their efforts downtown rather than throwing funds into the open sewer that is the east-side?
Perhaps it's the "Gentle Giant Scholar Youth" and their Baby-Mommas. They've destroyed their neighborhoods and are now out to destroy anything the don't have. And their sense of entitlement means they "should" have what they haven't worked to earn -- so they feel no sense of "wrong" when they acquire it by illegal means. And will cry "racism" when someone tries to stop them, especially the police.
So whine as much as you like TKC. But until you pull off your PC muzzle, you're simply a eunuch.
Well sorry to bust you fat ass pinata there Super Taco.....other than the Adams Mark laying down to the NAACP and becoming a "bitch" to the low-limb Negros that frequent a 3' deep waterpark, and trying to rip off unsuspecting white people coming from all over the country to see the Rolling Stones, no problems.
ReplyDelete60,000 white people watching the Greatest Rock and Roll Band of All TIME.....and not a single problem. None, nada, nothing.
Can you imagine getting 60 Negros together, let alone 60,000 and having no problems ? LMFPBAO.....not in this lifetime. Nope won't happen.
As for the Rolling Stones, last night was the Bear's 26th Stones show dating back to the early 70's. From multiple venues across the US, to Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland, last nights Stones show was one of the BEST. Not top 3 but definitely top 10. With a slightly different playlist, just a tweek, it would have been top 5.
Jagger was solid energy from the opening seconds. The dude is 72 fucking years old and rocked for 2 hours with only a two song, 10 minute break, in the middle of the show.
Simply a fantastic night, no Negros, no trouble.......just a whole bunch of white people rocking out. Didn't see any Confederate Flags, nor any Cop Block assholes breaking the law. Just white folks, most with plenty of money, having a great night out.
I know TKC is totally disappointed there was no Mariachi Band playing before the Stones, no Tech9, shoot your cousin rap, no Kale burger vendors...and Jagger didn't throw shit on anyone, didn't vomit on the first three rows.....nope nothing like Rock Fester, or a day of shopping at Oak Park.
A fantastic night, Negro and trouble free. Some really nice looking lil girls is short skirts and stripper heels swinging by to check out the tall, ruggedly handsome Polar Bear throughout the evening.
I can only imagine TKC's night at the skate park listening to Koonya and Snoop Lion.....oh wait, that didn't work out so good....Snoop "Dog".
Nope the ol Polar Bear and his lilly white crowd mates enjoyed a fantastic night with the undisputed, and still "Greatest Rock and Roll Band Ever".
Roll Stones...................
The Bear sums up the Stones concert last night very well. Locals who didn't need a motel room had a great night at Arrowhead. The Stones can still deliver a great show and never lets the fans down doing it. Ed Sheeran, who performed their 1978 ballad ‘Beast Of Burden’ with them was also a nice touch along with the Stones doing Kansas City.

ReplyDeleteWell you missed the mark on that one Tony.
Some call it energy shaming but we call it "Rolling Coal"
ReplyDeleteMonday morning & the Rolling Stones are still in town. As usual, Tony Botello got it wrong. You need to move your fat ass out of your mom's basement & get out into the real world
ReplyDeleteIt is actually pretty sad to be 40 and living with mom.
