  2. This is what happens when you have plenty of Boss Hog politicians and virtually no leadership. Everyone has been on TV screaming about I-7y0 for about 4 years now. In he mean time we have free sales tax days, promise to build a new stadium in ST. Louis, give state casinos breaks, talk about building hotels that will eat up state funding, play games with failing school systems and fund a myriad of pet projects. Why is it that in Missouri basic infrastructure needs special attention, funding and help from the tax payers while pet projects, giving away tax breaks, partnering with sports franchises and pandering to casinos require nothing? Could it be that for decades the priorities in this state have been just a little bit fucked up? After watching the LC elections it is pretty obvious people in this state are sloths, but does anyone care about the billions this fix is going to cost the taxpayers while legislators play, revising and tinkering with gun laws until they have effectively none and son on? When are the dead dicks in Missouri going to demand accountability? Never mind, go back to sleep.

  3. Two choices:

    - Increase highway funding, via an increase in the gas tax which hasn't been increased in DECADES or other significant funding source. Stop playing games with stadiums, "feel good" tax cuts, etc., and get serious about fixing our crumbling infrastructure.

    - Continue to hope the problem just "goes away", and in the mean time, quit your bitching.

  4. You can't fix I 70 with a dedicated streetcar tax, you fucking moron.

Here's an idear! Why don't we quit building new unused road infrastructure that goes from nowhere to nowhere that nobody uses until we can pay to maintain the road infrastructure we already have...
