Mayor Sly: "The tragic deaths of Kansas City children by idiots driving around in cars with guns has got to stop.
People know who did this, and I call on them to do the right thing and the TIPS hotline so we can catch and prosecute the perpetrators of this heinous crime.

Somebody in the house knows, or has a very good idea, who did the shooting. The house was not chosen at random. One bad guy wanted to kill another bad guy. He failed, and now the intended target will go after the shooter, or his family, or people in the vicinity. Mayoral disapproval means nothing to these guys, and they will take action themselves rather than trusting the police to do it. I see no hope for an end to it.
