FOR YEARS NORTHEAST DENIZENS HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET RID OF THE CAPRI MOTEL AND NOW THEY'RE FINALLY MAKING PROGRESS ON A PROJECT THAT COULD COMPLETELY TRANSFORM THIS PART OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD!!!
There's a lot of credit to go around here . . . Solid work by neighborhood leaders, City Council and MO House Rep. John Rizzo ensured that this longstanding source of blight and an occasional dead hooker would soon end its reign. Even better, there's a highly anticipated move to get rid of the no-tell-motel across the street too.

The Crime rate will drop thanks to all involved and especially the College who is doing the developing.

These kinds of hotels are cool looking though--a little bit of Americana lost. Sad. And yes, I am serious.
