One of our TOP NOTCH KANSAS CITY INSIDER BLOG COMMUNITY DENIZENS sent word of this EPIC development early this morning:
"Just noticed that Shields is buying Facebook advertising en mass and directing people to her fan page that only has about 13 likes so far. She did good to get a new photo that's a step up from her old campaign material . . . Still trying to decide who is more likeable. I might go insane trying to figure it out."
Midtown Kansas City politics can often lead to insanity but we credit Katy for giving us a new look and new photo to use whilst we continue to wait for Council Dude Glover to take a new photo, make some news or do anything that looks remotely like campaigning in an election that's closer than his team would like to admit.

Let's just say, Ms. Shields needed the makeover. It's a nice pic. Not that much more persuasive for me, though. I did take to TKC's interview with Ms. Shields and that was persuasive. Politicians need to learn that fakebook likes are not legitimate votes.
