Amid election season, many Kansas City politicos tout LAST YEAR'S stats about a reduction in crime but the NEW HOTNESS seems to be an uptick in violence across the nation as a reaction to social unrest.

This Wall Street Journal op/ed outlines the trend and this is what our blog community is reading today: The New Nationwide Crime Wave - The consequences of the ‘Ferguson effect’ are already appearing. The main victims of growing violence will be the inner-city poor.

Right now we count 33 homicides in Kansas City Proper so far this year compared to 29 at this time last year. And it has been cloudy, the Summer hasn't really started yet.
Moreover, KCPD Chief Forté has consistently noted that the level of unrest in neighborhoods is directly proportionate to the rate of local violence . . . And that's why he and the supporters of KCNOVA have worked to make community relations a big part of their strategy which they claim has been successful. However . . . This effort might not be enough to quell the unrest stirred by a national wave of discontent that seems to be striking at the very core of American culture.
And all this has inspired tonight's playlist . . .

TKC, let's not just look at beatings or homicide. You should also check on the increase in property crimes, rapes and shooting incidents that are also increasing in KCMO. Those are just as important.

Alicia Keys video lifting up the Ferguson protestors! Ironic that Ms. Keys took a decidedly different path in life which has led her to great success: 34-yr. old Alicia Cook was born in Manhattan-NYC to an Italian/English mother who was a paralegal and an African-American father who was a flight attendant. Largely raised by her mother, Keys studied classical piano from age seven (Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin) and enrolled in the Professional Performing Arts School at the age of 12, where she majored in choir and began writing songs at the age of 14. She graduated in four years as valedictorian at the age of 16. I'll bet she didn't spend her time protesting, marching, or violating the law!!! Wonder why she doesn't make a video about that for the protestors?

ReplyDelete1. If you are young enough to have children or you still have youngsters in your house:
a. Get rid of the TV. I shouldn't need to say why.
b. Teach them to avoid the groid. This includes not inviting the innocent little black kids your child may know over to your house-ever. EVER.
c. Encourage racial identity and pride. White people created Western Civilization, although trying to keep it alive in the face of the misinformation from the media is almost impossible.
d. Home-school if at all possible. If not, look at your kid's curriculum and don't hesitate to point out bullshit. Teach them to question the party line. Teach them to see the insidious and hidden liberal story lines that the entertainment industry seeks to program us with.
These are hard, but this is where the most important work is, raising successfully racially aware White children.
2. If your child-bearing and raising days are behind you, your work is easier, but also less critical. Still, do these things:
a. Get rid of your TV or use it as carefully as you handle your weapons.
b. Talk to your family about race. John Derbyshire is right. You know who is resistant and who isn't. Don't come off as a crazed monomaniac, but don't let an opportunity get by either. If we are afraid to mention race to our brother-in-law, we aren't ready to discuss it with a stranger. Some people are more receptive to humor or a soft-sell, some like hard facts and figures. You probably already know which category your family members would fit into.
c. Avoid the groid.
d. Be prepared: in as good of health as you can manage, armed, have your wits about you. Blacks attack with no warning.
That's really about it. You can't do much, if anything, about the mass of White folks who enable Black Run America. You don't even have full control of your own life (try telling the GOV where you'd like your tax money spent). But you have some control of some aspects of your life. Be aware of what you can do, without driving yourself crazy over what you can't. And like my dad says, don't forget to enjoy the things you love and spend some time doing those!
Well said. I was in the Raytown Walmart a few days ago, and there is only a thin veneer of civility of the black masses to white men.
ReplyDeleteThe slightest offense, often imagined...such as cutting in front of someone or "looking at them funny"...can provoke vile threats and actions.
At the check out counter there was an incident where the Black Cashier...a woman...remarked rudely that I wasn't moving fast enough.
I should have kept my mouth shut, but instead I said, "don't start in on me, I'm not a cop" which provoked outrage and actual YELLING at me from the cashier.
The punks behind me started in on me and I said "Are you trying to start a riot or what?"
Security approached but I was not the one yelling so I asked "Am I under arrest">
They said no and I walked straight out and down the street...not to my car since that would be videoed...and sent a friend back for my car later in the evening.
I will never set foot in there again.
