TKC NOTE: Right now here are some words of wisdom from a KICK-ASS TKC READER who offers IMPORTANT advice to voters who can't get in touch with Council candidates in their district. Check it:

"NONE, not one, of our current council members answer emails. There is no excuse for this. ALL have an aide. At a minimum we should get an automatic response acknowledging our effort to reach out to them. We elected them. We pay their salary.
"Several of the candidates in this election ignores our letters. If they do that as a candidate what can we expect once they are elected? SILENCE.
I URGE EVERYONE to reach out to the candidates before casting your vote. If they ignore you, withhold your vote as you will never hear from them again. We can take our government back and the first step is electing people that DO NOT ignore you."

ReplyDeleteSince this blog is about candidates, I have to say I have contacted Nash on a couple of issues and he has always responded. That may be because he actually has an interested in the city and neighborhoods which is evident from his involvement in community issues and attendance at meetings. That's very unlike McManus who hasn't been seen anywhere and only spouts what Sharp tells him to. Nash is a real go-to guy.
