This is going to get some cop hurt.
ReplyDeleteScared cops is not good.
ReplyDeleteThe cops are the biggest bunch of whiners in local government.
ReplyDeleteTactical disengagement. Doesn't that just mean, screw it, we ain't going in there?
ReplyDeleteThis month Baltimore has had the highest number of homicides in any month since 1999.
ReplyDeleteAnd they're not happening in Inner Harbor.
And we haven't heard or seen much of the "Hands Up Don't Shoot" crowd, but I feel certain what's going on is someone else's fault.
No responsibility and unintended consequences.
Everything is economics. It's far cheaper to cede certain areas of this city to the criminal element than it is to police them and risk facing lawsuits. There is no real tax base there anyway. The concern is when the crime begins to creep into more affluent areas.
ReplyDeleteI seriously doubt the majority will complain that tax dollars are saved, lives are saved and offenders still get to the justice system. There will always be a few ignorant who just never will get it.
ReplyDeleteAll this negro appeasement bullshit does is embolden anarchists andcreate hesitation.
ReplyDeleteHesitation will get you killed.
Brave the doughnuts and coffee with honor
ReplyDeleteKansas City Police Department sucks up a lot of tax money to make the rich folks feel safe. Good thing the fast food workers are willing to let the Police Union crush their organizing efforts.
ReplyDeleteTactical Disengagement is just stupid organizational speak. Deescalation of violence is not much simpler but more meaningful. If the police are taught to respond to every situation with deadly force, the results will be more death. If you meet opposition to authority with provoking a fight, you will get a fight. If you meet opposition with overwhelming numbers, you are more likely to intimidate the opposition. Containment and siege work better than pitched battle. Acting to reduce violence requires intelligence and time. Intelligence is in short supply in a bureaucracy.
