By and large this blog doesn't even try, link, post or write "nice" stories anymore because the effort is mostly wasted on the denizens of our critical thinking community that can usually cut up every bit of human effort from the safe distance of a keyboard . . . So, rather than reference racial, immigrant, hater drama . . . We'll simply provide the link along with the reminder that this item isn't really "news" or valuable public info that impacts other people's lives . . . Very much like most of the other happy talk and/or propaganda that passes for "journalism" nowadays and makes the clickbait artists seem savvy by comparison.

ReplyDeleteThese kids are amazing spellers. I can't even spell all of their names. Congratulations to kids like this that aren't out doing drive by shootings or bullying others.
ReplyDeleteThe parents should be proud...do any of these kids go the Southwest high school campus? No because they do at least an hour of homework a night.
Complainers about Academie Lafayette aren't doing their jobs in raising their kids so they claim it is racist behavior if the kids can't speak a foreign language or even acceptable English. If they could then they wouldn't have to settle for minimum wage jobs. And don't get me started on these "Pastors" that don't tell the parents of SW students(?) to grow some balls and make their kids do the right thing which is not getting in line for a government handout.
AL please get the IB, AP, Nat'l Merit programs going real soon.
