KANSAS CITY 'PEACE RALLY' DIDN'T WORK GIVEN LATEST OVERNIGHT HOMICIDE!!!

Yesterday police, politicos and a great many employees on their payroll were holding hands and talking about peace in Kansas City's urban core.

Sadly, those sentiments didn't carry over into the late night . . .

Check it:

KMBC: Officers responded to the scene in the 100 block of Northwest Harlem Road.

This is the 27th KCMO murder so far this year compared to 22 at this time last year.

  1. Interesting. Yesterday, Tony glowed about a march in the Crossroads district that had 13 people in it. He also showed in another post this week, three people holding signs on a corner near the Plaza and called that a "rally."

In the past, he used to pimp "rallies" involving no more than 5 people that were "organized" by Tracy Ward and her successor Toni Bones, neither of whom could organize a clusterfuck, as if those rallies represented a deep festering and widely held community sentiment.

Today, however, Tony decides to take roll of who was at the "Peace Rally" and wonder whether that reflects the "community."

  2. And, he calls the "Peace Rally" a failure because some guy got shot last night.

As if the standard of success was no more homicides, ever, in a metro area of well over 1 million people.

  3. lol.....a "Peace March" with "13" people.

Bet Crossroads was closed down for that one......

That's fucking funny. Hell, there are more passed out drunks sleeping in doorways in Westport on a weekday morning than 13.

    BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  5. I bet a lot of people have never been down Harlem Rd. If you've ever seen these shitty apartments you won't be surprised a murder took place there. They should probably go ahead and bulldoze this shit hole now.

Dear Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting this info. KCMO not only city experiencing a major homicide surge: At this point in 2014 there had been 57 homicides in Baltimore; so far in 2015 there have been 75 homicides in Baltimore. In Saint Louis at this point in 2014 there had been 40 homicides; so far in 2015 there have been 55 homicides. The Baltimore disaster may have destroyed the last remnant of willingness on the part of the nation's police forces to fight black on black crime; which given that 93% of the blacks killed last year were killed by other blacks means that in the months ahead we may see a horrific surge of violence in every black neighborhood in America Thank you, prosecutor Mosby, for what you have done for black America. Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans

  7. Anyplace named "Harlem" is bound to be infested with NIGGERS and as such, to be a hellhole..

  8. REALITY CHECK!!!! Do not aggressively approach a group of police officers during a tension filled protest wearing a FUCK THE POLICE shirt, you will be deemed an immediate threat then you will be taken down in a professional manner before being arrested for menacing.

Don't do stupid shit and you won't have stupid shit happen to you.

  9. Of course the peace rally did not prevent more homicides. Everybody knows that only candlelight vigils can do that.

  11. Dr. Evans, there is only a "surge" if you compare 2015 so far to 2014, which saw the lowest number of homicides in KC in a couple of decades.

And even then, I'm not sure that five more homicides so far this year (by Tony's count) could be called a "surge."

  13. 10:44 AM Shut up, Daryle. You want so bad to misconstrue the crime patterns in Kansas City. First, lower crime numbers was not unique to Kansas City. Virtually every City across this nation saw a decline in crime. The suggestion of lower crime would have to exist for a minimum of five years to know if any of the programs you subscribe to are working. And obviously it is not. You're not the great Messiah or King of Kings, you're just regular Daryle who got over during the gravy train explosion. Now you're suckling the public tit just like the rest of them. Come to Mama!

Kansas City barely has 470,000 people in it. The town does not have a million people in it and KCPD has jurisdiction exclusively in Kansas City. The metro area is being police by other respective Cities. Let's keep things in proper context. The people on this blog will believe just about anything and we should not contribute to their mislead ideals.

  15. Ms. Mosby, the prosecutor in Baltimore, has just again demonstrated why it's mostly a bad idea of electing prosecuting attorneys, as too many of them play to their political supporters, or in this case, to the mob.
Just like the now-disbarred prosecutor in the Duke lacrosse team fiasco who ruined lives and reputations with his incompetence, selfish behavior, and unprofessional conduct.
Ms. Mosby's husband is a Baltimore city council member.
Half the Baltimore officers indicted are black.
The charges filed will be very difficult to prove and exonerations are likely.
I wouldn't rebuild the CVS quite yet.

  16. Harlem was Harlem, when Kansas City was Westport Landing. It's sad that the City of Kansas City has allowed this once historic neighborhood to deteriorate to its current state.

Harlem is prime riverfront property and could be a great asset for the city and Northland.

  17. Killin a surging.....Killa City killa's are getting that groove. It's only first week of May.

Wait till about June 15 when it starts to heat up.

The Negro mojo will flow and the killing fields will flow with the blood of the hood.
