I noticed she no showed the candidate forum last night on transportation. Could it be because she didn't want to be exposed as not having a clue on infrastructure and transportation?!?!
ReplyDelete"Not having a clue" has never been a problem for Tony. All he cares about is that she is running against an incumbent, and that alone makes her "anti-establishment."
ReplyDeleteDon't bother asking her specific policy questions which might help voters learn how she will act if elected.
And if she is so anti-Sly, why doesn't she say so?

ReplyDeleteDick Davis still hasn't answered a single question about his failure to protect the northland. He's voted to spend over a billion dollars for wealthy investors and their projects, but where has he been on the issues important to those of us that live north of the river. We need sidewalks, lights, roads fixed and another fire station in the far northeast. He's never even tried to help those that live up there. You are finished Dickhead.
ReplyDeleteDavis is one of Slie's clones. He will take over the transportation committee when Russ Johnson is done. He will be Slie's frontman on the 1.5 Billion Dollar airport and the 1.7 Billion Dollar Streetcar (28 miles @ $60 million /mile). Glorioso has been hired to get him re-elected, I believe the Northland is smarter than this.
ReplyDeleteI'm not in the Northland but if I were I would certainly vote for Hill over Davis. I was disappointed to see him win 4 years ago. It was actually a sad day for all of KC as it will be again if he is re-elected.

How about someone who's just normal? At least the primary weeded out one awful candidate, Louie Wright who, despite 98.5% of all firemen living in his district probably got less than half the votes because he is so reviled by those that ever dealt with him.
This city can't get a good candidate to run. Shameful.
I keep hoping Heather Hall will say something other than "We need nice roads and more cops, I'm fighting for the northland!" whatever that means.
I've met Dick Davis and he is the personification of an "empty suit". No personality at all and a record of doing nothing for the Northland. No, Dick, it's time to go lie down...
ReplyDeleteCouncilmen Davis has done a great job improving the infrastructure throughout the first district. I spoke with Hall about her plan to continue the improvements if elected and her answer was “I’m standing up for infrastructure.” I asked how and received the same answer. I’ll take the known over the unknown any day.
ReplyDeleteCalling Dick Davis a "known" prospect is like calling ramen "gourmet." He's a tax and spend retread politician that's putting loads of debt on future generations. Meanwhile, I continue to see my water and sewer bills go parabolic while big name developers demand more and more handouts from the clowncil. And get them, too. The whole lot is tainted. All the incumbents need to get voted out.

DeleteHeather Hall works for Clay County where office holders sue each other and the whole bunch of them is being investigated by the FBI. What is more screwed up than Clay County? That is just what we need at City Hall -- Clay County! Go away, Heather -- just go away!
