Last election season an upstart city council candidate proved that a grassroots campaign could earn impressive gains without taking part in the old school Kansas City system.
Like it or not . . .
TRACY WARD WAS A KANSAS CITY POLITICAL TRENDSETTER AND HER ACTIVISM SET THE STAGE FOR SO HOPEFUL CANDIDATES THIS TIME AROUND!!!
Like it or not, she was right about red light cameras and the overall backward nature of local politics. With little campaign infrastructure and only a handful of volunteers she made it to the primary, threatened the local political elite and created a sense of hope for alternative candidates that persists to this day.
Even better . . .
OUR FRIEND TRACY HAS SOME ADVICE FOR CURRENT POLITICAL HOPEFULS DURING THIS KANSAS CITY CAMPAIGN SEASON!!!
We're always thankful to hear from old friends and here are some words of wisdom from the liberty activist now doing amazing work in Austin, TX.
"Just hold firm to your beliefs and don't let anyone try to sway you," Tracy Ward said. "Most people just want to live their lives without being governed. Adhere to a non-aggressive way of governing and Kansas City will flourish."
Scaling back local government isn't something that we hear very often but new ideas often resonate with voters in these campaigns after they're inundated by candidates who all sound alike. Thanks to Tracy, so many new candidates are one the scene and unafraid to break from traditional campaign tactics.
Developing . . .
Haven't heard about Tracy in a while. Glad to know she is still around.
ReplyDeleteWhen I considered running for the City Council I billed myself as the I WILL MAKE YOU MAD CANDIDATE. I then and still now believe a candidate has to make people mad to effect change. We must make people mad enough to say enough is enough

"trendsetter"
ReplyDeleteLMAO!
Be humble now. At least she's no longer whining and complaining about everything.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing that says revolution and change quite like having council candidates like Shields and Bachuus!

"Just hold firm to your beliefs and don't let anyone try to sway you"
ReplyDeleteWhen that fails and it will, just hope for the best.
"Just hold firm to your beliefs and don't let anyone try to sway you"
ReplyDeleteSounds like Sly James
I'm still trying to understand the carpet/drapes analogy. Please explain.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to her, but I cannot take what someone says seriously, who has cotton candy pink hair.
ReplyDeleteStrange, I don't remember her for her politics. I remember her for the Bukkake Parties.
ReplyDeleteOf course that news was broke by a Kick Ass tipster during her election. Might of cost Bukkake Ward the election.
I find it ironic that the guy who screams "FAIL!" every time it snows a quarter inch is now the champion of scaling back local government.
ReplyDeleteInteresting how the dumbass is driving political discourse in this country
ReplyDeletegrab that pink hair from behind and yell as the Bear hits it doggy style.
ReplyDeleteCalling for the Cum Guy. Tag team that pink sock.
What kind of a faggot votes or **advocates** for this broken, blockheaded face of lesbian bed death? Isn't **jolee** enough? Lazy gunty midwestern roinkers with loud unnatural hair colors are the reason we're all as fucked as we are.
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't want to be "governed"--which is why she's trying to get a job governing everybody else. Typical feminine bullshit full of self-contradictions and nonsense.
ReplyDeleteYou know 5:50 does make a lot of sense with that statement.
