Sure, everybody is expecting low voter turnout this election and there's no way that the Kansas City silly season is as exciting as Penny Mathis and Denise Milani doing a bit of roadside wrestling in their lingerie BUT it's interesting that the DEEP Southland races are turning into a slugfest.
To wit . . . Here's the latest info on local City Council contender debate this week. Check it:

Well I'm glad the Southern Communities Coalition was able to organize and set-up an entire event for the 5th and 6th districts.
ReplyDeleteWHERE IS THE TKC QUESTIONNAIRE?
If this obscure group can set-up a debate, surely TKC can use his community to develop a 10 point issue based questionnaire to get the candidates on record here in the interwebs.
Give it a break 7:21, you're really starting to irritate me like Glazer and Washington do.
ReplyDeleteDon't know who you are 7:47 so go kick rocks.
ReplyDeleteBut TKC updated us on the questionnaire so there is no reason for me to post that again.
STFU 7:52, now you're pissing me off as well. 7:47 you forgot to add Bones name to that list.
ReplyDeleteOkay 7:21. I don't know where you're from but this Coalition has been around since the 70s representing the southeast side of KC. The city strongly suggests to developers that they meet with the Coalition before advancing too far in their plans. Talk to city staff and council members and they will tell you the Coalition is a viable and sometimes formidable organization.
ReplyDeleteO I didn't mean to belittle the organization 9:36. I love local and neighborhood organizations. They're grreat.
ReplyDeleteSorry if I misunderstood "obscure". Without these neighborhood groups the city would be in even worse shape.
ReplyDelete100% 12:32 ya my obscure statement wasn't the best, they are very well known where they matter most and thats in their neighborhoods. the people they serve.
ReplyDeleteThank 1:28. It's nice to meet someone civil here. ;)
