The Friday night civil liberties check and harsh crackdown on local law enforcement. Take a look:
KMBC: Independence officer indicted after September 2014 taser incident
Fox4: Two counts apiece of deprivation of civil rights and of obstruction of justice in connection with the September traffic-stop encounter with 17-year-old
KSHB: A now-former metro police officer is being indicted for using a stun gun on a teen during a traffic stop.
White privilege.
ReplyDeleteWhat in the blue fuck does 'now-former' mean? Why not just say former?
ReplyDeleteI smell a huge lawsuit with a giant payday. Juries these days will hammer cops who injure citizens. 3 million? Not unreasonable.
ReplyDeleteJasper County SD Tortured and Killed a man strapped to a chair for 11 hour.. 230k is what the mother got
ReplyDeleteThat punk kid is fine. His Daddy is a Captain with KCPD and apparently never taught that little shit any manners and let him smoke dope.
ReplyDeleteWow! The vehicle was properly registered to Master's parents and there was NO warrant associated with the vehicle in the computer system.
ReplyDeleteApparently in Missouri judges think it is perfectly OK to issue search warrants based on hearsay and on affiant's statements who have no first hand knowlewdge of the facts 'cause Runnels signature is not on the search warrant affidavit either. Further any other officer could not have had first hand knowledge of what went down at the traffic stop. Must have on hell of a Bar Association in Hicksville..
^ WTF are you talking about, 819? Are you the retard kid that got Tazered? Your brain really did get scrambled.
ReplyDelete8:04 - jasper county juries are nothing like Jackson County juries. Jackson County folks will give millions. Fork it over, Insependence insurer.
ReplyDelete8:27 Just go back to doing whatever you were doing. The subject matter was obviously way over your head. Follow the case in Federal Court and I bet you get it.
ReplyDelete8:13 That punk kid wasn't smoking dope. Watch the case progress.
ReplyDelete"The indictment also charges Runnels with two counts of obstruction of justice for filing a false police report concerning the incident and for making a false statement to Independence Police Department investigators ..."
ReplyDelete8:35 - it depends on whether you file in Federal Court or you file a tort action in JaCo, so go ahead and get back to what you are doing.
ReplyDeleteGet your shit right, 8:13. Nothing in your post is correct. Go back to playing Dungeons and Dragons in your mommy's basement
ReplyDelete8:58 What the fuck does a story about a Federal Indictment have to do with a civil action that doesn't exist jackass? Go back to sleep.
ReplyDelete859, you looked really cute in your little bowtie. When you get your big settlement you can buy lots of bowties and take a nice gay cruise.
ReplyDelete9;09 - the civil action is coming. And Independence will pay a princely sum.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt Independence will pay, especially after all the tap dancing and posturing they did in the immediate aftermath of this mess. They better be thankful the chief had enough sense to eventually sever the department from the ass covering or they would be in a lot bigger mess. Now IPD finds itself in a position where it's own investigators are going to have to testify in Federal Court that Runnels filed a false report and made false official statements. Under the Federal statutes that alone will send his ass away to see Bubba.Add the civil rights violations and Runnels could be in deep shit if he doesn't work out a deal to cop a plea.
