Kansas City Insider message: "Southwest captain hits head, knocked out doing pre flight check."
The photo of the ambulance is actually emergency services rushing to help the poor flight dude captured by an AWESOME KANSAS CITY INSIDER and sent our way.
And maybe all of this is a sign that KCMO might want to concentrate on basic maintenance and simple stuff like snow removal before we focus on more grandiose pet projects.

We need censors by Cisco in the tarmac attached to a twitter feed that we'll enable pilots and first officers to post selfies with the ground crew. Making us not only a smart city but a smart airport.

OMG. I used to do baggage at KCI. You know what it would cost to de-ice the tarmac on an on-going basis?
