KMBC reports the new reality . . . It's harder to justify shooting civilians for better and worse but mostly for better. The deets: "Investigators said police were delivering a search warrant...They said the person they were looking for ran out of the house and the officer shot him. At the time of the incident, a police spokesperson said the man was fleeing from police." Officer indicted in June 2014 shooting You decide

Funny how you can't get her office to file charges on actual criminals, I'm sure she was just salivating waiting for an officer to indict. I hope she knows truly how big of a cunt she is!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the guy was running out the back door to get his school books and attend a conference on world peace.

Thanks for posting @435, funny how he is just hanging at home with a record like that, goes to show the priorities of ol' Jean
ReplyDeleteGiven that damn near all the witnesses were cops and the case was investigated by cops it seems kind of obvious that someone thought the shooter did something wrong. Maybe F.Lee Bailey, who I am sure is someones cousin in here, will come along and solve the big mystery. Since we know the police never kill anyone wrongfully.
ReplyDeletei cant stand cops, but if there was ever a dude that needed shot it was tony contreras. he tormented the east side for as long as i remember. this is one time cops did something right. i don't care if he didn't have gun, i would look the other way for him. good job for once kc cops
ReplyDeleteYep the guy was a scumbag, but that doesn't give a law enforcement office a license to illegally shoot anyone.
ReplyDeleteEPIC COMMENT BATTLES OF TCK HISTORY!!! YOU DECIDE!!!
ReplyDeleteBEGIN!!!
Kind of already started @:5:33. I agree with the guy/cop who showed us the rap sheet. He doesn't sound like a prince.
ReplyDeleteDepolicing. Look it up. That's what this country has to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter if he was a criminal. Police do not get to be judge, jury and executioner. We have charges and sentences for crimes committed.
ReplyDeleteDon't let your sons grow up to be police officers.
ReplyDeleteThe prosecutor needs to go after real criminals.
ReplyDeleteHmm......me thinks Dr. Ernest Evans' theory on de-policing just scored more points!
ReplyDeleteI sense an updated Evans posting in 3...2...1...
7:06 Fuck you.
ReplyDeleteEvans is right and while innocents all over are raped and killed, Liberals like you stand by and look the other way until it's YOUR grandmother who gets raped up the fuckin ass.
That cop should get a medal.

ReplyDeletePULL YOUR HEAD OUT!!!!!
7:06 is a friend of the Dr.
When the cops quit doing there job cause they might get indicted or applicants who are considering a job in law enforcement choose another career path you will end up with the caliber of cops in New Orleans and many other cities who have lowered their standards......oh wait...I seem to remember KCPD did that years ago.
ReplyDeleteThe sad thing is there are SO many good cops on this department and all the others, some cops who work for barely a living wage, then a mistake is made and I suspect that's what may have happened here and boom your indicted!!
Watch the fall out from this indictment
Once again, no support for the Police. Don't be surprised if there is a major work slow down. Bare minimum from the folks in blue. Let the shitbags of society fend for themselves. Maybe in the future the Police will be supported by the citizens, Prosecutor and their own Chief
ReplyDeleteGood cops don't need to worry about prison. I do find it interesting that we waited until the Ferguson mess cooled down before announcing charges. Also pretty interesting that the union boys are again appearing in the blog with precision timing. Definitely need to weed out the department and change the culture.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^^non-cop^^^^^^^
Delete9:23 what are you smoking. The fucking cops don't do much of shit anyway except play meter maids and speed trap posse. Every now and then a police officer has a stroke of luck and catches a crook. but the odds of a cop being around in the midst of a violate crime is about a million to one. Personally I wish the cops would slow down, park their asses at Krispy Kreame for the next ten years and let the citizens clean the shit hole up. Fuck the work slowdown. As much exposure as the public sees the only ones who will actually suffer will be politicians and bureacrats. A slowdown won't be noticed by anyone else. Park their asses and stay the fuck out of the way. You might see something change for the good. They sure as hell aren't doing much of shit for society at this stage.
ReplyDeleteThis Officer is the sacrificial lamb. He is paying for Ferguson, Mo. Mean Jean and Chief Forte are showing their non support by turning their backs on this Officer. Forte needs to be weeded out
ReplyDeleteThis is bullshit, and I'm not a cop. When you have to make critical, split second decisions, you can't possibly judge someone by the facts in hindsight. You have to judge them based on the facts as they perceived them at the time.
ReplyDelete9:37, great plan. Nothing's stopping you, go play batman. Jack off
ReplyDeleteI'm just waiting for Jimmy C to launch another of his cop bashing columns. While at the same time proclaiming his high journalistic, ethical standards of fairness and balance honed in his years at the Star.
ReplyDeleteLike Ferguson, perhaps you officers should take a cue from your own spin and shut your pie holes long enough to see what happens in court. That the bullshit you hide behind when dealing with citizens. The man is entitled to a fair trial. Lets see how it goes in the court system you love.
ReplyDelete9:37 ...while you play the butt licking cop buddy ...until it is your turn. Dirty Chin!
ReplyDeleteMore money needs to be spent on more shooting range time for police officers.
ReplyDeleteA grand jury of his peers think there is enough of a question for there to be a trial. Now a jury of his peers will decide if he is guilty. I can't remember a jury EVER convicting a cop, and I don't imagine this will be any different. There are good cops, and cowboy cops. But whatever the jury decides, the jury decides.
ReplyDeleteWhat I do care about are these threats of work stoppages, slowdowns and "de-policing". The officers knew what they signed up for. They knew the risks, the pay, the benefits, the responsibilities. They are paid by the people, and they serve the people. If they begin to forget that, then we have a much bigger issue that some person being shot on the Eastside.
His rap sheet is long as hell. Can u imagine what this terrorist has gotten away with terrorizing KC for the last decade? Instead he will get a van full of money to buy drugs and cars w/rims.
ReplyDeleteIf he does, then you can thank KCPD for the present.
ReplyDeleteYou can indict a ham sandwich, this officer did his job. Maybe he needs to spend some time at the range.
ReplyDeleteI hear they are gonna turn the cop over to Ben Crum and Al Sharpton to roast at the plaza.
ReplyDeleteFor all of those young people out there, don't become a cop. Don't even think of it as a career option. Consider any other job that you may be interested in such as plumber, lawyer, electrician, IT, whatever, but do not even think of becoming a cop. The job may seem exciting from all the TV you've seen but it will suck and you will realize eventually that no one appreciates what you do. And now, with the need to atone for recent cases across the country you may very well become the sacrificial lamb sacrificed for perceived injustice. Please, don't be a cop, use your brain and find something more fulfilling, where there is less of a chance of going to jail and where you can make a shit load of money doing nothing liking being a stock broker.
ReplyDelete^^^Truth.
