He used to call himself an "activist" but now he's a paid spokesman and tour guide for other towns hoping that fixed rail will solve their problems.
Take a look:
Oklahoma Gazette: Tour of KC’s streetcar offers glimpse of OKC’s future
We've highlighted the money quotes from our esteemed Kansas City activist . . .
David Johnson, the author of KCLightrail.com and a member of the board of directors for the Kansas City Streetcar Authority, invited me to walk the two mile line with him while I was in Kansas City this past weekend. While Oklahoma City’s system will cost $130 million and be funded through the MAPS 3 sales tax, KC’s line is $102 million with a combination of sales tax, property tax and 30 percent federal funding . . . “All you have to do is travel [to streetcar cities] to see the benefit,” Johnson said. “No cities regret it. There is no reason not to do it other than if we are willing to pay for it. We had an election and it solved that problem.”
I'm guessing he's not talking about he election where the streetcar was overwhelmingly defeated???
You decide . . .
Yeah. Right. We had a rigged election, and it solved the problem.
ReplyDeleteWhen we actually let people vote, 60% said no.
These people have no shame.
Let me take a wild guess... David Johnson is somehow related to Russ Johnson, right?
ReplyDeleteSmug. That's a good attitude to have when you survive on the public dole.
ReplyDeleteKC has no fucking morals what so ever, everything out of its mouth is nothing more than fraud
ReplyDeleteThis jackass is still around?
ReplyDeleteThere is no shortage of taxpayers and voters who would be happy to tar and feather this clown.
ReplyDeleteWait, voters overwhelming voted against the streetcar. What is he talking about?
ReplyDeleteThat fucking Toy Train is going to be a moving target for the hood rats.
ReplyDeleteYou hipster, plaid, lumberjack shirt wearing, shit heels, enjoy dodging lead.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure who's stupider. Johnson or Felder.
ReplyDeleteJohnson's a Maoist from Bob Avakian's Communist Revolutionary Party

"Chairman Bob" as he's owns and operates the Revolutionary Communist Party (RVP) The CRP stands for crap.
ReplyDeleteChairman Bob's not a Maoist
ReplyDeleteCity Hall gave the National Socialist Party a permit to dress in Nazi Regalia claiming gibberish is protected by the 1s Amendment, when it was intended to organize the Communist Revolutionaries against the NSM and Midwest Skins?
ReplyDelete5:06: Either he's found some similarly veracity challenged people in Oklahoma City or he thinks he's addressing a city of "sub rubes." At any rate it appears the Oklahoma Gazette will believe anything they're told by an out-of-town "expert." If you'd like to tell the Gazette how accurate David's info is, you can email them at:

Johnson and the rest of the gang on the "Streetcar Authority" have no responsibility for much of anything including where the tens of millions come from, how it's spent, how well the construction is done and turns out, or operations and maintenance once this fiasco finally is able to take its FREE riders.
ReplyDeleteNo one voted for them and they have to answer only to Sly and the others who have hitched their stars to building the millenial nirvana downtown at public expense.
And soon they'll all be gone and the residents of KCMO will be stuck with the traffic headaches and endless bonds to pay.
Quite a gig!
Thanks for playing.
Just another unemployable feeding at the public trough. They're a dime a dozen in Kansas City.
