Here's the harsh reality in Kansas City politics . . . Once there's nothing that you can give people or help them out with . . . They don't have much use for you . . . Such is also true about life in general . . . The union dudes have new faves and people they need to support. Meanwhile, TGR finds herself beset by adversaries who want to make sure she won't ever present any political opposition to them . . . As if we're all playing "House Of Cards" when very few people around these parts are as witty as Kevin Spacey.

Mahoney Blog: Legal Move To Make Ruiz to Pay his Legal Fees as Punishment in Residency Case
Deets:
"Her campaign, however, collapsed under the weight of conflicting evidence about her residence. (Lee) Barnes’ lawyer, Dan Zmijewski filed papers with the Jackson County Circuit Court Monday saying Ruiz ought to have to pay his legal fees.
"If there ever was a case that screamed for the award of attorney fees as a sanction, this is the one,” Zmijewski wrote in his brief. He did not mention a monetary amount."
It should be noted that this isn't the only lawyer effort out there against TGR and she could see other longtime opposition take up the fight to make sure that her political rep is tarnished for years to come.
Developing . . .
Client owes the fees.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile Sexy (or not) Cindy Circo walks away unscathed in her part of this whole debacle. Mayor Pro Tem... bleh!
ReplyDeleteI would think screwing over her constancy would be payment enough for a job well done?
ReplyDeleteDid yo mean constituency?
ReplyDeleteTGR lied to the public. CC keep her mouth shut and supported the lies. KC is full of liars and you rubes fall for it week in and week out. You worship Bones, Washington and Glazer and laugh and have a good time with their lies but in doing so you show support for them and provide the fuel they need to keep on running.
ReplyDeleteGo ahead KC keep supporting the liars and con artists you all deserve one another.
I give this chick six years before she is back running for dog catcher or something. Voters here don't believe in history.
ReplyDeleteVery few people anywhere are as clever as Kevin spacey.
ReplyDeleteTGR should be charged with criminal fraud.

ReplyDeleteShe'll be working her way back to the public trough, that's for sure.
But it won't be because the public has a short attention span, though they do.
It will be because TGR, like almost all of the other members of the D-list celebrity KCMO political class, has no skills, experience, or record of accomplishment that would enable her to find an actual job.
Look at the current crop of council candidates.
This gaggle? Out of a population of over 460,000?
You've got to be kidding!
If we don't start busing these wetbacks to Mexico shit's gonna hit the fucking fan. Take your chillun and your smelly food and get back there now.
ReplyDeleteEin volk!
Cindy Circo needs to go down with her. This was her big idea and she sold her friend down the river. Cindy is one of the dirtiest city councilman ever. Can't wait till they finally nail her ass.
ReplyDeleteLet's hear Bruce and Cindy bad mouth Carnes, Callahan or Paluka again.
ReplyDeleteC'mon Cindy and Bruce 'cause you are next.
You to bowsers should remember
"Every dog has his/her day".
Woof woof losers....woof woof.
So... I get it that TGR may have fudged on her actual residency but does the City of KC have any responsibility in this? Are they responsible for ensuring candidates are legal residents before they put them on the ballot? Obviously, there is no due diligence on behalf of the City - OH! What a surprise.
ReplyDeleteShe should go dancing in DOWNEY at her favorite bar known by local Californicatrs as the Puntas Arenas.
