KCPD Civilian Oversight Serves As Example Of Reform In The Aftermath Of #Ferguson

In yet another example of Kansas City local control of police working a lot better than other municipalities, here's a look at this town being used as an example for upcoming changes in the aftermath of social unrest:

Police Are Learning To Accept Civilian Oversight, But Distrust Lingers

Deets:

"In Kansas City, Mo., the Office of Community Complaints was the brainchild of a personal injury lawyer named Sid Willens. He says his eyes were opened to the problem of police accountability in 1965, when he tried to get justice for a client who'd been badly beaten while handcuffed. Willens says the police department's internal investigation simply confirmed the officer's version of what happened. "It's like having the fox guard the chicken house," Willens says.

"Willens proved that his client had been mistreated — and in the process, he concluded that the Kansas City police needed what he called an "ombudsman," an independent entity to address complaints. The department resisted at first, but in 1970 gave in.

'"Once the cops got used to it, it worked," Willens says. "And it's still working, because what you're doing is simply trying to do what every business tries to do, [which] is get rid of the rotten apples. And there are very few overall."'

  1. Civilian Oversight = Curtailing the ability of the police to arrest blacks for crimes, which in turn, leads to "De Policing" and an increase in murders, rape, theft, assault and black criminality.

This is turn, will lead to pleas from the victims, mostly black, for a "Catch 22" solution, that is impossible.

This is turn, will lead to accusations of "Racism" causing the increase in crime.

This in turn, will lead to more power invested in "Community Activists" and Race Industry Grifters whose pictures will be taken with the mothers of the dead and the mothers of the killers both lamenting the criminality, because, of course, they were both, killer and victim, "Turning their life around".

This will in turn, require more tax payer money for studies, the elevation of unqualified, simpletons with experience as "Community Organizers" to run for office and purloin even more tax payer money for the racial cause de jour.

    Cause you know, slavery.

    Rinse, wash, repeat.

  2. The OCC, led by Pearl Fain, is well-run and functions exactly the way it should. It's good for both civilians and cops,

  3. Let me be as clear and as blunt as possible: an abusive police state is necessary in order to hold a “multicultural” society together.

If you go to one of the few white areas left in this nation, or anywhere in the world--the ranks of police necessary to keep the peace plummets, because crime goes down astronomically.

The results of what is happening right now will be turning a blind eye to non-white crimes, and a refocusing of resources into policing whites for revenue generation purposes. This is easier, more profitable, and much safer for cops.

Crime will explode, of course. Politicians, psychologists, the MSM, and other assorted idiot savants from the left will double down with their suicidal stupidity, and blame whitey for the sad state of affairs and demand even more money to solve the mess.

Eventually the pendulum will swing hard in the other direction, people will beg for a police state; even most of those who are ideologically opposed to one now.

So basically, a multicultural society is ungovernable, unpoliceable, and unsustainable.

It really doesn't take a genius to see what is in store for the nation from the ever angry, entitled and infantilized low-IQ negro population that has low-to-no impulse control--who will not be able to compete in an increasingly technological environment, while simultaneously being squeezed out of the job market by foreigners.

Total hell awaits, because no one in power wants to deal with reality, as they are either chicken-shit cowards or fools who have drank too much Kool-Aid.

Citizen Oversight Boards are de facto permission for more black crime with no consequences.

  4. The jails in the Kansas City Metro are filthy and over crowded with prisoners sleeping on the filthy floors. This racist, cruel and unusual punishment remains satisfactory for Police and City Council.

  5. This may be a little over simplistic, but if you don't like the jails quit visiting. Quit spending my tax dollars on your inability to be a quality citizen. However, if you continue to choose to visit detention facilities then get used to bad conditions. I completely support the systemic underfunding of jails, detention facilities, holding rooms, torture chambers, I don't care. I hope they are horrible. Just maybe some young man will visit one, realize he never wants to visit again and straighten his life out.

If not, I hope he catches hepatitis early and saves the taxpayers millions of dollars and dies early.

    1. 912 the problem with what you are saying is most of the people in jails are awaiting trial. So they are innocent people, at least for now. And innocent people shouldn't be sleeping on floors. Now if you meant prisons that's a totally different issue.

  6. The idea that the police should not be accountable to the tax paying public is right up there with paying high school graduates wages in the mid 40's, with off duty perks that can approach 60K, and hearing then whine about lousy pay. If life is that tough when deadly force is used then get the hell out of the field and go be a nunn. There has to be some veterans on that department that know damn well PD duty is pussy posse work compared to fighting a war for a shitload less in pay.
