Recently, pay cable TV ran one of those "investigative" cable shows about a case with a Kansas City connection.
We all remember the Kelsey Smith story because it was a pretty blatant example that MSM cared a lot more about the most manufactured story involving the tragic death of some white broad then all of the black people who were killed that year. 'Round these parts, we call it MWWS (Missing White Woman Syndrome).
MSM was told not to ask any questions about the relationship that Smith had with her assailant and they dutifully obliged. The story the was manufactured didn't make much sense but has since been used to spy on mobile phones with greater ease.

The tragic part about the case wasn't just the homicide but an overall media complicity to stifle serious questions from the public . . . Which continues in this show that sensationalizes and dramatizes the murder for the entertainment of the viewing audience..

There was not a lot of mourning. Which is sad because if she would have had more time, she might have become a good person. That is the REAL tragedy that this kind of media exploitation doesn't depict.
