All of them climate scientists must be on the Obama payroll to be saying this kind of stuff.

The man Hannity tells me that there ain't no weather change and I reckon he's studied all a them facts and done the ciphering so as I don't have to.

I know that he's giving it to me straight.

  3. Chuck, I agree with you on almost everything but c'mon. Don't take such a myopic view. One, this is far from the coldest winter on record. We've had hardly any snow and a couple of weeks ago it was 70 degrees. Last year was the warmest in recorded history for the world, not just our little corner of the world. Last year Fairbanks, Alaska didn't go below zero for the first time in recorded history. A couple of year ago Moscow hit 100 degrees for the first time, killing tons of the world wheat crops. It was a huge reason for the unrest in the Middle East because people were running out of food due to Russia not being able to export wheat. We are the only country that listens to politicians (and the money men behind them where changing their business model will cost them money so they don't want to do it) and not scientists. Among conservatives in other countries around the world this isn't a debate. Only in ignorant America. Chuck, you probably don't like those libs in California but they produce 25% of our food. We are fucked without it and the drought there is really goddamn important. Know any farmers? Ask them. They'll tell you something is definitely going on.

  4. Guess what. If humans never existed on earth the climate would change anyway. Its been going on for millions of years and cow farts and lawn mower engines arent going to change anything.

We do need cleaner air and water, but some of these people are just nut jobs. Next thing you know volcanic eruptions will be caused by wood burning fireplaces.

  5. 7:52, you missed the part where the gummint propagandists portraying scientists finally had to admit that there is only a 38% chance that 2014 was the hottest year on record (using only surface temperature records, and disregarding contrary evidence from satellite temperature measurements). You also forgot about proxy records showing that the medieval and Roman warm periods, each covering centuries, were warmer than today. And, you forgot to take into account the fact that one would expect recorded temps to be increasing as the world bounces back from the Little Ice Age, which ended about when our surface temp measurements began. Other than that, your post is right on.

I am not going to argue about global warming. There is evidence that refutes your claims and really, the only thing some lunch pail dude like me can do is read every opinion from scientists and try to guess which ones are right. 9:45 kills it. There is money in dem dare green hills and folks are going to lie to get it.

That said, in a country that developed fracking and changed the course of the cost of energy for the foreseeable future, there is hope for that drought in California. It's called, THE PACIFIC OCEAN. Removing the salt from water is not yet a imperative, but soon will be. My guess as just another dummy behind a keyboard, is that if we can drill down miles, aquire, process and distribute fuel for our cars from remote and wild environs, that we can water our crops with water from the ocean in short order.

Glaciers are melting all over the world. The ones in Greenland are chilling the Gulf Stream making the Northern Hemisphere colder than normal in the winter. Most people don't use the phrase 'global warming' anymore, but rather 'global climate change'. Everyone agrees with this, the question is is man responsible.

    I don't see how he couldn't be.

  10. If you want a country where you have top down centralized control of the masses, you do not need a secret police, barb wire, concentration camps or the barrel of a gun. If you control the masses access to energy you control where they live, what they can own and how and when they can move. This is the ultimate goal of the environmental movement. Control health care and you can control what people eat. Add in some PETA agenda and you can control their access to meat and thus how healthy and how much energy they have. With state of the art monitoring thanks to the NSA and you control the masses like a herd of sheep. The government doesn't care about the environment or your health, they care about controlling you. If the masses are controlled and docile, they the Elite can do anything they want and not have to put up with pesky activists and dissenters.

  12. I don't know whether or to what extent humans are contributing to climate change, BUT

7:52: "Recorded history" means back to 1880, which is an eyeblink in the life of the earth. We know for certain it was warmer 1,000 years ago than it is now, but we don't have the records to know how much warmer.

And 10:15, California is turning to the Pacific Ocean for water. See the article at
