The latest Mary Sanchez column touts a victory for political correctness and a minor concession amid a legacy of racist caricature by the Kansas City Chiefs organization.
Check it:
KC Chiefs have one clear victory: Achieving mutual respect with Native American group
Here's our least favorite token Latina totally selling out:
"Chiefs’ President Mark Donovan sees the ongoing dialogues as important far beyond being a strategy to fend off the public relations storms that have engulfed other teams. It’s the right and honorable thing to do."
This should be offensive to football fans, Native Americans, fans of opinion journalism and even consumer advocates who hate to see advertising disguised as content.
Even worse . . .
IT'S SAD TO SEE TOKEN LATINA MARY SANCHEZ SELLING OUT TO THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS!!!
Her column might be the worst kind of ring-kissing The Star has made her perform in quite some time. This is a lady with no sense of football or Native American issue. Seriously, her qualifications to write this article seem to be the fact that she has black hair, a big nose and somewhat dark skin . . . Media denizens in Kansas City like to believe that they're so "progressive' but when it comes to issues that fall out of the typical black/white dynamic . . . It's pretty much 1955 all over again.
As for the "work" the Chiefs have done to improve their tragically racist organizations heritage . . .

This effort doesn't even come close and should START with working to curb racist fans and their offensive costumes that so often show up at home games . . . THAT'S RIGHT KC CHIEFS FRONT OFFICE ACTION AGAINST RACIST FANS IS A TKC DEMAND that Mary is too much of a cowardly squaw to repeat.

Developing . . .
Can't... Stop... Yawning...
ReplyDeleteSuch a boring topic. I went to Lawrence on Monday and saw a NA by Haskell. What to know what he had on? A Redskin hat.
Another fake media story.
Mary has "Brown Guilt". She knows that the Spanish displaced all the Mayans down in Mexico and the Mayans want the Mexicans to "Go Home".
ReplyDeleteShe is eaten up by the fact that Cortez and a host of Spanish Speaking invaders destroyed a Mayan and Aztec Culture that existed for thousands of years.
She also knows if she keeps whining about the Chiefs then everyone will forget that same Spanish Invasion worrying about those evil white boys.
I am still dead in a Black on White Hate crime that no one will admit was a Black on White Hate Crime.
I don't know about this blank on white crime legend. I heard about a gasoline necklace where they put a tire around your neck and torch it.
ReplyDeleteThat's the one!
ReplyDeleteSeems like this story is about Tony has no influence and Sancheese does with the Chiefs tossed in there because Tony likes to stir up shit playing the race card.
ReplyDeleteTop Photo Caption:
ReplyDeleteShe is TAYANDA, daughter of Tayanita, a Cherokee mother warrior, and Orenda, a Iroquis Chief father. Her name literally means "young beaver with magic powers."
TAYANITA: Native American Cherokee name meaning "young beaver."
ORENDA: Native American Iroquois name meaning "magic power."
She is the fulfillment of an ancient Native American prophecy in which the men of all races will fall upon their knees and pledge their forked tongues to her desires.
.....meanwhile, after completing her article, "propaganda Mary" hopped into her Jeep Cherokee to run to the store for some Land o' Lakes butter, Sue Bee Honey, Aunt Jemima mix, and Uncle Ben rice, before her group takes off for the concert in their Winnebago. They're hoping to scalp 2 extra tickets before going in to the show.
