Right now, Kansas City Blogger Dee @ The Sassy Conservative offers her take on recent events in Ferguson which reflect a more thoughtful and nuanced conservative perspective than the typical reactionary rage.
Here's a worthy line from her recent post:
"I also think that both Governor Nixon and President Obama handled the whole situation very badly.
"I am reading about the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950's and 60's right now. During that time, real and horrific injustices took place that were worth rioting over. Yet, most of them did it peacefully."

While the Polar Bear enjoys the "stir", he found "Sassy's" expose quite readable.
ReplyDeleteSome excellent points. The Bear is in total agreement that "Peacefull demonstration" should be part of our democratic process. Rioting, no !
Over the years, the Bear has noticed that when large groups of people (100 or more) gather, there are always a few shit heels in the group. As the numbers grow, so do the shit heels. That seems to be the case in Ferguson.
Shit heels, media pimping from CNN, and a serious case of "denial" by the parents of "the Gentle Giant" who minutes before getting himself killed, had his hands around the throat of a midget shop owner while stealing a cheap ass pack of cigars.
The Brown parents just can't or more likely don't want to accept the fact that their "Gentle Giant" wasn't such a "Gentle Giant".
Has anyone watched the interviews with Mike Mike's running mate that day, Dorian Johnson. One would come to the conclusion that "the Gentle Giant" was quite possibly something totally different when not around his parents.
When you turn on the TV and see Benji (the Walking Lawsuit) Crump, and al Sharpton, the Reverend of Lies, standing behind the parents, well, one immediately thinks that a fucking is a comming........
I don't think it is the politicians at fault. the citizens of this country have allowed the black racist mindset to take root and grow until the libtards have accepted the bullshit as mainstream thinking. The only think to learn from this type of tolerence is you give an inch and the ungrateful bumbs want a mile. It's past time to force them to work for a living and force them to get an education and force them to live without government handouts. Life's a bitch and they might as well get used to it.
