When one community gives up on a neighborhood and retreats . . . The impact can be varied, long lasting and often bitter.
Unfortunately, in all of this there's little talk about bringing the shooter to justice even as more thoughtful neighborhood advocates ask for TIPS to help solve horrific crime.

#2 = KCMO School District Superintendent Steve Green and the Board. Green who is a resident of Bonner Springs, KS, was given a contract including salary of $250,000 a year, increases equal to the percentage increase given to district teachers, the use of a district-provided 2013 Buick LaCrosse, a $60,000 signing bonus, and the contract also includes incentives for reaching goals such as improving scores on the district’s annual performance report, increasing enrollment and receiving “clean” audits.
Board members include former Chair Airick Leonard West who had an outstanding arrest warrant before he took care of the matter, and Gunnar Hand who was charged by the MO State Highway Patrol with "Possession Of Up To 35 Grams Marijuana and Unlawful Use Of Drug Paraphernalia."

The media has reported two weekends of “youths attacking students for no apparent reasons.” The local media is censoring the fact that all the perps are black. They also censor the fact that racially motivated mob violence against white college students has been common at Midwestern campuses for over twenty years.
The first weekend of October, at least three students were viciously attacked. The second weekend, at least five more were attacked. All the perps are described as black males in their early to mid twenties. This past weekend, at least one more student was attacked by a group of black males.
During the same time frame a black male sexually attacked two different students and another black male committed a strong armed robbery.
From campus police:
On October 17th, 2-3 black males brutally beat a student and rob him of possessions. (1 victim)
On October 14th, campus police arrested a black male for two sexual attacks on students. One of the perps was attacked in her own bed inside her apartment. (2 victims)
On October 12th, a student was the victim of a strong arm robbery at an ATM machine. The perp is a black male. (1 victim)
On October 11th, five different students are brutally attacked in four different incidents. Perpetrators are 6-8 black males. (5 victims)
The campus police only have police bulletins going back to October 11th. We know that three students were attacked by black males the weekend before October 11th.
That makes, at least 12 students attacked by black males within 14 days. No incidents of students being attacked by whites. Urbana-Champaign, IL is only 15% black!"

ReplyDeletePlenty of blame to go around, parents who don't parent their kids, the social services who don't report the parents, the courts, in particular the judges who fail to sentence the criminals, the prosecutors who repeatedly make deals and reduce charges and finally the defense lawyers who push for lighter sentences, plea for their clients who they know are guilty and blame the victims.
ReplyDeleteOh wait, one more, the politicians who refuse and fail to make the laws on sentencing stronger which force the judges to punish the offenders and again to the politicians who fail to pass budgets that don't build more prisons.
Until these things are done these senseless killings will continue and they should not happen!

ReplyDeleteRed letters on a darkish color photo is virtually unreadable. Not enough contrast. Should have used white or bright yellow.

Camera lenses don't know what to do with that, so they make faces even darker, destroying their facial features.
ALways shoot pictures of black people with light on their FACES, not behind them!
