"At approximately 715 pm KCPD officers were dispatched to the 7-11 store at 10615 Blue Ridge Boulevard on a reported shooting. When the officers arrived they discovered a six year old girl in the parking lot who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. Information received indicates that an unknown vehicle drove past this location and began shooting multiple rounds into the parking lot area of the store. The young girl was in the parking lot with a family friend when she was struck. The suspect(s) fled the area in the suspect vehicle. Several other people were also in the parking lot at the time of the shooting. Anyone with information about this tragedy is urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477)."

Since Sept. 1, 2014 we have had 18 homicides--you do the math, as Sherlock Holmes would say: "It is a simple calculation." That area is the new Prospect corridor which proves that no matter whether Blacks live in suburban areas or urban areas, the resulting violence follows. The so-called Black leaders blame the place. They never suggest that it is the psychological condition of the people who live in the place that make crime an prominent issue in communities. It just so happens that in this place, most of the whites who could afford to move out have already left that area; and the area is now predominantly Black. In that area, they have access to Hickman Mills schools which used to be credible but since the migration, that school system is no better off than Kansas City Missouri Public Schools. So, what happened? One group lived in the area for many years with a fairly decent lifestyle. Another group moves in and all hell breaks lose. We know how this story ends and why.

ReplyDeleteWhat many people want to call racism is really a social prejudice. If the word prejudice means to pre-judge, then it is really not prejudice but people acting on experience. You act like a thug, people will assume you are a criminal and that you are violent and threatening and react to you accordingly. This being seen as a threat can be generated by how a person dresses, what kind of language they use and what kind of body language they give off when they move. An African-American man or youth in a hoodie will be treated differently than one wearing a suit. An African-American man or youth acting respectfully and using good language will be treated differently than one getting in your face and using motherfucker as an adjective. Acting civilized is not being White or letting White people oppress you. It is how a civilized person acts in a civilized society. It is like sign I saw once in a bar that said: “DON’T START ANY SHIT AND THERE WON’T BE ANY SHIT.”

If a White cop pulls over an African-American man talking, looking and acting like Neil deGrasse Tyson or an African-American woman looking and acting like Condoleezza Rice, he is going to treat Mr. Tyson like a gangbanger or Ms. Rice like a ratchet? A racist White cop with half a brain would suspect that these people have connections and not risk any repercussions from treating these people poorly. If the cop’s prejudice is of a social rather than a racial nature he would harbor nor show any hostility to an African-American person who looks professional.
African-Americans people should consider going off the grid, even in an urban environment and adopting the attitude: who needs White people. The Nation of Islam has shown this path but their leadership, like most Black religious leadership is corrupt and self-serving and theology is too extreme for most Black people who are Christian; however their views on self-sufficiency are worth studying. Over the past forty years, many Black people have chosen a voluntary type of segregation, such as call themselves “African-American” and that would good if the purpose was self-sufficiency but the result has been an increased dependency on government (the man) and a breakdown of their culture and the African-American family. All poor and disenfranchised people of all colors should realize that any level of government is not their friend.
I am very pessimistic about race relations in America. I see the situation never getting better and reaching critical mass and imploding into chaos in most American cities. Barack Obama was supposed to be, as the first Black president, the first post racial president. Given the current definition of African-American, Barack Obama would not meet that definition. Obama has, with his appointment of Eric Holder as Attorney General, divided the races more any than other president. This coming chaos if it comes violent race war, Barack Obama, Eric Holder and all the race pimps, Oprah and all the other Black opportunists will have blood on their ends. The very people to whom African-Americans look to for salvation will in the end damn them.
The "Post Racial" President has done more to incite hatred amongst the races than any other president in history.
