The Jackson County primary election is in the past but the controversy continues to rage.

KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS SHARE DOX REVEALING COMPLAINTS AGAINST JACKSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR MEAN JEAN PETERS BAKER FOR ALLEGED ETHICS CODE VIOLATIONS INVOLVING SENIOR MEMBERS OF HER STAFF PLAYING POLITICS ON COUNTY TIME!!!
This isn't the first time that Mean Jean has been accused of playing politics with her office but these complaints are specific, hard hitting and ongoing.
We've hinted at the complaints before and AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS INTERCEPTED a recent communication and complaint to the prosecutor's office that recently became part of the public record.
The complaint was filed by Candidate Sherwood Smith but he isn't commenting on it.
Nevertheless, the allegations expressed in the letter reveal a lot of disappointment in the prosecutor and serious questions about her management style.

Dear Ms. Peters Baker,
It has come to my attention that a severe violation of the County's Ethics Codes has allegedly been committed by a Management member of your staff, I have received both verbal and written notice that #########, who has a supervisory position in your administration, on or about June 20, 2014, in person and through the County's email system, solicited contributions and attendance to a fundraising event sponsored by you, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker and Jackson County Legislator Dennis Waits (who held the fundraising event at his home) and others. The fundraiser was being given for my opponent at the time, Frank White.
As you are well aware, the people of Jackson County led by County Executive Mike Sanders, overwhelmingly voted to approve a new Jackson County Charter that contained new Ethics Codes in August of 2010. One of the reasons for the new Charter was to eliminate the last bastions of Pedergast type cronyism and politics in the offices of Jackson County. The new Codes/ordinances included and/or reinforced some of the following, some which I have emboldened and underlined based on the feedback I've received:
731.1 Political Participation -
All county employees may voluntarily participate in political activities outside working house. (Ord. 552, Sec. 10.1,)
Solicitation of Funds Prohibited:
No person may solicit for any charity, political or private cause on county property without the express written consent of the Personnel Director. (ord. 554, Sec. 7.1)
Political Solicitation Prohibited:
Employees under the Merit System shall not be personally solicited or required to pay any assessment or contribution or perform any service which will benefit anyone occupying or seeking employment, nomination, or election to any public office by any other employee, officer or elected official of the county. (Ord. 554 Sec. 6.1)

Job Actions Prohibited:
No officer or employee shall promote, remove or demote or promise or threaten to promote, remove or demote, any county employee for making or refusing to make any contribution to any political party or purpose or for rendering or refusing to render any political service. (Ord. 554 sec. 6.2)
As the Candidate most effected by the actions of the officer in your office and as a citizen of Jackson County I am appalled that such an incident would be allowed and/or condoned in your office.
Furthermore, I was even more puzzled to learn that there will be no actions taken against the manager who perpetrated this act, other than a verbal talking to. Words cannot express the astonishment, disappointment and dismay I have in you, your office and its management as a whole over your handling of this incident. As a lifetime citizen of this County, I expect more from its leading law enforcement officer. Going forward I know to expect a lot less.
Lastly, I would like to make a format complaint through whatever channel that is available to me as a citizen concerning this incident. I feel that all public employees should be held to a high standard of conduct and those of us in the Public Safety Arena of public service should be held to the highest standards. It seems as though you do not share the same thoughts and cronyism might still exist. However there is a charter that says you should and it should not.
Your prompt attention to this matter will be highly appreciated and please let me know how I should proceed.

It's really strange that in Missouri there is this whole subculture of government servants who are occupied with moral corruption, self indulgence and complete alienation of the very folks to butter their bread.
