This is the another streetcar moron-airhead that wanted to crowd-source funding for the toy train back in 2012. (The Pitch)
ReplyDelete"Wilson's new company, Neighbor.ly, plans to pay for a large portion of the streetcar through relatively small donations."
Keep these idiots out of city hall. We cannot let this "startup geek" or any sort of hipster get into any political position. The consequences would be catastrophic.
ReplyDeleteLet Geek Wilson put his couple million where his mouth is. All these "entrepreneur urban activists" now days like to refer to themselves as aspiring philanthropists,
ReplyDeletewhich most are not and never will be.
I think this idea is worth exploring. Amazon is investing in Twitch.TV because they're pulling more more television viewers than some of the top rated television programs.
ReplyDeleteIf the investment is relatively low, the impact it could have on our region is immeasurable.
I'm not sold on it yet, but anything that involves reuse should be given priority over demolition.
Coming up with ideas is the easy part. Paying for them is another problem.
ReplyDeleteWould be bankrupt in one year, maybe less, if it's turned into a venue dedicated to e-sports.
ReplyDeleteLevel Kemper
ReplyDeleteCome on guys!!
ReplyDeleteYou've got to be ALL IN on these things!!
Grow some balls in your flappy sacks and GO FOR IT!!
The above post is meant merely as satire and does not reflect the views of the actual and upstanding Diana Kander. Fuck, am i gonna get sued now?
ReplyDeleteKemper's solid. Why tear it down for something new that will be even more cheaply built?
ReplyDeleteThe city needs to sell Kemper before they screw the tax payers with some hogwash brilliant plan.
ReplyDelete"Competitive video games tournaments"???? Jesus Christ. If you're gonna spend gazillions on a bigtime sports facility, why would you build one for a clientele that, for the most part, has no money to spend?
