Did anyone else but myself notice the absence of our Mayor as the event was over and the ghetto thugs was running wild all over the streets acting like the jungle bunnies they are? No as was reported, "About 10:30 p.m., two teenage girls fought near James as he was leaving the event." No the head Ass of KC was bailing before the shit hit the fan if it was going to. This big nut less prick was afraid to stay at his own party till the end. Great leadership you have going for yourselves in KC.

I live downtown and heard gun shots in close proximity for the FIRST time last night and sirens almost non stop until 3am. Fuck you Sly James, I am trying to figure out a reason to stay downtown and this bunch if bullshit isn't helping. It's getting harder and harder to explain to friends why living down here is just fine.

IF you were going to find a credible challenger to Sly James, who might it be? There is not one person on the current city council who I can think of to support...but I do think it might be time for new leadership. Not because of this non-issue of Rock the Block--but because Sly doesn't seem to have a clear focus of what he wants to accomplish. He is too scattered and seems to prefer publicity over meaningful change, in my opinion.
