While authorities and law enforcement have expressed cautious optimism . . . YAEL IS ALREADY DOING A TOUCHDOWN DANCE and bestowing political accolades regarding lower Kansas City crime stats this year: Sorry, naysayers: KC's crime rate actually dropping in 2014

It ain't the number of murders that is the problem. What is the problem is the number of unsolved murders.
ReplyDeleteLet's not start sucking each others' cocks quite yet.
ReplyDeleteLike Bananarama sang about... it's been a "cool, cool summer."
An odd group to reference on this site, but that would be cruel summer, not cool summer.
DeleteHomicides may be down, but I'd be surprised if shootings in general aren't up. Just because the coons are bad aims doesn't mean they don't have violent intent.
ReplyDelete@4;30: Correct..
ReplyDeleteWith less than a 60% clearance rate of murders in the last 10+ years, there are over 250 murderers running around CKMO...

ReplyDeleteLess crime or cops stupid'r ?
ReplyDelete"Sorry naysayers"
ReplyDeleteHEY THEY MENTIONED ALL YOU GUYS!
I'm not sure who the "naysayers" are in that most everyone would welcome a reduction in crime and homicides.
ReplyDeleteBut with a city hall that is about 98% PR, spin, and loves to play with numbers, it's probably best to see what the ACTUAL homicide totals turn out to be.
There seem to be shootings almost daily, but not very many "life threatening injuries" or the docs and nurses in the ERs around town are doing a great job.
As many shootings as ever and only around 50% clearance rate for homicides. All these programs that get such great press are supposed to reduce the shootings, not just murder victims.
A bit early for champagne.
Doesn't it make some sense that as the east side population continues to decrease, there would be less crime, considering that's where most of it is?
ReplyDeleteViolent crime down, racism up!
ReplyDeleteNo Earnest Evans posts please. We've heard it already.
