Tonight Kansas City offers a bit of much celebrated discussion of all things tech and somewhat Internets happy . . .
They've been doing more than a bit of promo on this one for quite some time . . .
TEDxKC: Getting Money Out Of Politics And A DIY Musician
The highlight of our tech night will be Kansas City power broker Diana Kander taking the stage . . .
She's promoting her biz book that we've discussed a few times on the blog but this talk seems to be offering an online pep talk aimed at the Kansas City "creative class" who have taken a break from telling everybody how busy they are on Facebook.
Developing . . .
Kander pander puddin' pie
ReplyDeleteTony tries to catch her eye
Books are sellin', blogs are not
Basement dwellers get no twat
Kander pander goes unseen
Poor old Tony pulls his schween
Books are signed, money's banked
Back to the blog, now that you've wanked
"Let me tell you about all the wonderful things you could do if you are already rich"
ReplyDelete"Hi, those in the expensive seats can rattle their jewelry, in the cheap seats just shake your beard back and forth"
ReplyDeleteTonight's lineup of luminaries?
ReplyDeleteTKC RULE # 123
ReplyDeleteDiana Kander can never appear on this blog unless she's promoting herself. It's always about trying to convince others that she's not what you think. Spin....spin...spin.
Jeebus, was she out doing yardwork before the event?
ReplyDeleteThe outfit is supposed to make her look like she doesn't care about money and prestige, and that she's just like any other normal person who never get's any attention.
ReplyDeleteDid Beth ever forgive her?
ReplyDeleteLeft at the break.
ReplyDeleteMore pretentious than a Dyson vacuum cleaner commercial.
read the tweet, it's a rehersal. dumb-asses.
ReplyDeleteI tried to read the first chapter of her book. Really tried. It is painful--trite, badly written, and soooo doesn't ring true. I was actually kind of sad for her. I looked at amazon.com, and I think that someone must have posted fake reviews--they are all glowing. Again, kind of heart breaking.
ReplyDeleteYep, all those first day release 5 star reviews were clearly planted.
ReplyDeleteSuch a very transparently obvious ego monster.
6:04 you write poems? you must be a fag! and a Fire fighter.
ReplyDelete10:13 buhahahah! but the fag (6:04) is right she is only worth a meaningless fuck, even though he prefers male ass! lol
ReplyDeleteTotal bullshit and nothing more than self promotion.
ReplyDeleteMove along...
She's a nice lady, and smart as hell. You guys need to quit being complete horse's asses.
ReplyDeletei waana see her pussy lips in those shorts!
ReplyDeleteShe's a female version of Morgan Maxfield (if you remember him). Totally a self promoter, look for some real exaggerated points (lies)in her resume.
ReplyDeleteTED talks. And talks. And talks. And talks. Line up for your empty pseudointellectual sermon!
ReplyDeleteIn general TED talks jumped the shark about 5 years ago when Gates took the stage; since then TED has devolved into a thoroughly mediocre franchise, much like McDonald's.
ReplyDeleteWith, I might add, approximately the same amount of nutritional value...
Specifically, with regard to Diane Kander: she’s just an intellectual lightweight who aggressively rode her husband’s political coattails (and she was far from shy about using the whip hand.)
Heaven help him when/if he leaves office, she will make his life miserable.
Is Diana wearing hiking shorts?
ReplyDeleteBusiness plans suck, kindergarteners outperform MBAs in problem solving.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we kind of already knew this stuff about 5 years ago.
Get some new material, already.
As with many modern entrepreneurs, she hasn't actually DONE anything.
ReplyDeleteShameless self promoter, but great net-worker.
I like the cut of her jib!!
