Kansas City isn't alone in our club scene hot mess, let's not forget that Lawrence, Kansas has been home to a surprising number of shootings and murders this year.
The latest example:
KCTV5: Lawrence officers shoot man after birthday celebration turns violent
KSHB: Lawrence officer shoots man; 2 officers on leave
KMBC: Officer-involved shooting in Lawrence sends 1 to hospital
The teaching moment here should reveal that gun violence is rampant here in flyover country and even college towns can't seem to control their partying nowadays.
