Local run-around with crooks amid the Kansas City late night . . .
KMBC: A Kansas City police officer’s cruiser was struck at the intersection of Ninth and Harrison streets Monday night, police said.
KSHB: Just before 10:30 p.m. Monday, the KCPD helicopter spotted a reckless driver just east of downtown.
Developing . . .
How ironic would it be if it was someone at the FD.
ReplyDeleteOnly proves KCPD doesn't care who gets killed.
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean that Sly will soon be suggesting that the legislatue in Jeff City needs to change the driving laws so that KCMO can become a safer place?
ReplyDeleteAll this must be someone else's fault. Sly's only the mayor and on the police board; his hands are tied.
Let me get this straight, 1:35 -
ReplyDeleteThe police helicopter spots a dangerous driver and guides cars on the ground to the dangerous car in an (apparent) effort to get them stopped and checked out before they slam into some poor citizen (someone's child, spouse, mother, etc.). In the process, the suspicious car hits a marked police car and the two occupants flee from the scene - standard behavior for law abiding citizens. And you, 1:35, somehow make the police the bad guys.
Those poor guys are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
Dear KC Police Officers - I still support you and your efforts to catch criminals.
Signed,
A Tax-paying KC Resident
Damn, suck it real good!! Would ya!
