She'll probably be taking over for Crispin Rea as he moves on to his City Council run . . . Here's her low profile FB campaign page that most people haven't seen yet.
KCPS insiders generally like her and her resume is impressive.

PATTIE MANSUR IS A KANSAS CITY POWER PLAYER AND FORMER FRIENDS WITH MAYOR FUNKY'S WIFE GLORIA SQUITIRO!!!
The connection is way closer than you think . . . And we confirmed that she's the wife of former Dead Tree Media reporter Mike Mansur who is now doing communications work at Jackson County.
So, she has basically got this election won . . . Even though she's just starting to collect signatures with the help of School Board leadership.

ReplyDeleteOnce AGAIN you have your info wrong, Pattie turned in her signatures, they've been certified and she's on the ballot, it's been posted all over facebook for gd sakes! And she certainly didn't seem to need or want West's help, she's got the entire backing of SW area plus a lot of support in the urban core. I had 3 different people at three different locations ask me to sign for her over the past few weeks. Where are you getting your info?

What alternative universe have you been living in? You must be new to KC. The crooks on the school board have been using that thing to get contracts for friends, jobs for friends and they have an expense account, not to mention all the perks like iPads at the cost of the taxpayers or worse, kids. Even now West uses the schools in the district as a recruiting tool for that "diversity" camp he runs where he makes a good 100k a year. Wait, I fell for it... school board member post... so obvious now.
