Blight, broken promises and very little hope for change highlight Kansas City's latest dilemma:
KCTV5: Vacant homes create fire threat in Kansas City, Missouri
Hobos often light dangerous fires in these homes to stay warm . . . KCFD says that 40 vacant buildings have caught fire as of late . . . Luckily (or not) the flames are in sections of the city where its hard to tell the difference.
Awww...I miss Heidi.
ReplyDeleteThreat or an easy way to raze them?
ReplyDeleteOld news been happening for years
ReplyDeleteSly put on a big show for the cameras last summer riding a backhoe and announcing his latest big "program".
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with that?
Why the fuck is it always hobos doing this shit according to you? I'll bet most of those were started by crackheads passing out while getting loaded. I don't recall of one instance of police raiding a hobo camp in any of these neighborhoods. Hobos might be poor but they are not stupid. The last place they are looking to hide is where they will be dodging bullets or being some cheap beat-down entertainment for some gang of wanna-be thug punks.
ReplyDeletePlus if a hobo finds a good place they won't be stupid and burn the place down.
