The FIRST link we've seen regarding the effort to provide assistance to so many broke-ass Kansas City tent communities: "In answer to the bitter cold, a Kansas City Salvation Army team that deals with the camp-living homeless will be out for the next three nights. The numbers served are small, but the services are life-saving."

The SA sucks up a lot of money with those red kettles.
ReplyDeleteThe Salvation Army has not a clue how to help the homeless. They'd rather give them a sandwich and watch them scurry back into the park where they do drugs, make meth in two liter bottles and pass around female hobos. If anyone tries to get these homeless people into a shelter or rehab, the SA screams they're being put out of business by not having a market for their free sandwiches.
ReplyDeleteLots of these guys don't want help because they don't want to get off drugs, follow rules, etc.
I don't know about you, but a photo of London Andrews and that enormous caboose of hers would make my day.
ReplyDeleteThat caboose sucks up a lot of cash like a Salvation Army Kettle
