Rather than kiss Mayor Sly's ring and accept rather lame excuses, it's important to hold politicos accountable for their performance on issues that impact all of Kansas City.
To wit . . .
TODAY MAINSTREAM MEDIA CONFIRMS TKC COMPLAINTS OVER CRAPPY KANSAS CITY SNOW REMOVAL REVEALED AFTER ONLY A LIGHT DUSTING!!!
Sadly, Mayor Sly and his people are to busy spinning this story and should probably pick up a shovel if they wanted to be really productive . . . In this case, a broom would do . . .

ReplyDeleteLIGHT snow necessitates activation of EMERGENCY operations???? How fucking stupid is this? Not to mention expensive...Yup, Missourians are a stupid bunch. The national media is right!
ReplyDeleteI think activation of EMERGENCY operations means they can skim some more cash under the table to put in their own pockets.
ReplyDeleteAppears they do this when they want people to think they really give a shit. Which they don't.
ReplyDeleteI think we are all supposed to be jumping on the Nelson Mandela train right now.
ReplyDeleteIt ain't cheap to live to 95 that you can count on.
ReplyDeleteThey choose what you're watching and you don't mind
ReplyDeleteThey choose what you're watching 'cause they're so kind
Yeah forget it. It's going to be Mandela week.
ReplyDeleteDon't snow plows leave half an inch or so? How would they have cleared the streets?
ReplyDeleteGood question, 4:52. I have no idea what Tony expects the city to do after a light dusting. Especially since Tony will bleat about the taxes it would cost to activate all the snow removal equipment and personnel every time we get an eighth of an inch.
ReplyDeleteHere in the mountains it was sunny, with a high of 70! But, when it does snow, we plow the streets. We also demolish condemned houses, repair streets, fix sidewalks, etc.
ReplyDeleteOne day I was walking down the hill where a shrub had crowded the sidewalk forcing me to step into the street for a moment. A policeman watched me do this. The next day the shrub was gone.
Byron were you walking to your job? You are blind but not that blind that you can see a shrub and a cop watch you step into the street? You are a piece of shit moocher that takes and takes. Fuck you!
ReplyDeleteWhat snow? There was a dusting at most, and that was gone by 8 AM. People who had trouble driving today need to go back to Florida or Arizona or wherever.
ReplyDelete4:32, you do realize there is more to Missouri than KC.
ReplyDeleteThe southern third of the state was predicted to have sleet and ice. That's what the activation of emergency operations was about.
And all it did was to put on alert the people who needed to be on alert.
6:13, people who had trouble driving today also had trouble driving yesterday. And the day before. And every day.
ReplyDeleteAnd that must include Tony who can't seem to handle an eighth of an inch, so he blames the city.
And once again Byron thinks we give a shit what he thinks. That bush was a huge ass pile of cash which the cop collected and is living good while retard boy walked by it.
ReplyDeleteWhile KCMO road clearing and treatment is a complete failure every year, there wasn’t anything to clear or treat this morning. The same accidents would have probably happened at the hands of the same reckless drivers this morning regardless of the fact that there was a slight to non-existent dusting.
ReplyDeleteByron shut the fuck up. We would shoot you and serve you at next years family reunion if we didn't already know you would taste like shit. Plus you can't get any good drugs anymore so just what the fuck good are you for? Target Practice?
ReplyDeletewhat'd you expect from a shitty city manager and a shitty public works director
ReplyDeleteThere was no snow to plow today. Are you kidding me? Rain is more difficult to drive in than that "snow." You can't blame anybody for anything on this. Diuguid has written some true bs over the year but this one was ridiculous
