Fire/Police Incident by SuperDave
Fire depts. and police depts. have thrown hate balls at one another for over a hundred years and will for hundreds of years to come. What we have here is an off duty firefighter who for whatever reason lost all touch with reality, rather it was from drinking or his brain broke down and he flipped out. As well we have an off duty police officer who it appears was doing off duty security work or was just in wrong place at wrong time. The fact remains the officer did not deserve the beating he got and was getting and as the story stand was in his all given rights to protect himself which he did or it may have been him who was dead.
When firefighters break the law the police or any other law enforcement agency are the ones who have to deal with them. Same as when a police officer needs medical aid or their property is on fire it is the job of firefighters as a rule to deal with it. The issue for years is all about authority between the two depts. In short neither dept. feels the other has the right to tell them what to do. Yes there is going to be harsh words directed towards each of the depts. from the other, it’s how they will deal with their anger some till reality of what has happened takes over and each side admits what has taken place is a tragedy and that they have to stop acting like idiots and get back to working together once again. Calm minds are what is needed right now not only from both depts but from the public as well. I am sure as we speak an outside agency is being or has already been called in to investigate the incident and the real truth will come out then. But for now name calling and acts of ignorance will not help or solve anything.
Tony is expressing his thoughts and some facts we may not all know about and we all know he links us to other news sites as well with his stories just as he has done since he started Tony’s Kansas City. So attacking Tony and calling him names for reporting what has happened is extremely childish.
For the record I was a firefighter in Johnson County the same as my father was before me and all you readers have no idea how hearing of this incident saddens me. I ask for all Kansas City Fire and Police personal to be cool and calm and collective in dealing with this matter. Remember there are more than two families here that are in a lot of pain and they don’t need to witness a public/media fight as well between the two depts.

Don't know why either department should get in a snit.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fucking street fight.
Again a ton of rocket scientists with opinion and little to no facts
ReplyDeleteSuperDave is a parasite and another tkc suckass.
ReplyDelete9:09 Strong words my friend. As an outsider, SuperDave's commentary seemed well reasoned, moderate, and a call to chill. Why are you so angry?
ReplyDeleteApparently you haven't seen the totality of super dumb comments on here. Tkc suckass
DeleteAww,stupid dave.sound advice from the guy who was so compassionate and didn't start talking attacking and calling name's, like idiot and plenty more to the young gal who fell out of the party bus.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why the fuck Tony gives you the time of day.
You are an idiot, on so many levels.
We read with much interest your latest submission, "Commenting regularly on a hobbyists blog and having a twenty pound manuscript and a pile of rejection slips from.publishers and agents has made me delusional enough to believe that I can.write about civic matters involving death and be taken.seriously" but, unfortunately it does not meet our needs at this time as our editorial standards are such.that we do not publish opinions by grown men who believe they are super heros.

Love it!
DeleteTony WHY??
ReplyDelete"For the record I was...Johnson County..."
ReplyDeleteThat says it all. Johnson County doesn't want to be part of the metro. All they want to do is steal business destroy property values on the Missouri side. I don't pay attention to those in the Golden Getto who are used to bes.
Superdave-joco homo firefighter, I figured you to be yard breathing dbag.
DeleteI don't trust any fucking freak who preaches responsible behavior ..NO second chances for criminals...
ReplyDeleteIs always the first to criticize and judge people..
THEN gets his big underoos in a wad because someone blogs about his good bud,and pedorat, UNCLE ED!
Yep, cops, ff and child molesters get second chances with ol' NAMBLA -JOCO DAVE..get fucked freak boy!!

ReplyDelete(cc) (smell-o-vision) Hamburger Boy throws one his regular delusional commenters to the wolves, feigning support but only being concerned with a high comment count; Chuck conjures his muse while he fondles his tattered thesaurus, hoping to compose an essay that will finally get him into print.
You are appreciated.
DeleteMost firefighters are d-bags. Think they are all hotshot, and not one should mess with them.
ReplyDeleteDon't scorn us Super Dave for raising hell on this dog fight.
ReplyDeleteHow long has this guy been out now?
ReplyDeleteThe police and fire depts will continue to get along. We are intelligent enough to get past this and move forward. We are not street thugs looking for retaliation. We are a family.

ReplyDeleteSeemed a pretty reasonable comment. If the cop was getting his brains beat out and it sounds like he was, then this is one of the unfortunate outcomes.

I have been workin all day, good to know your here thinking of me.
good on dave. This was a good post. Rare one.
ReplyDelete9:38 that lady was an idiot. Damn can't even speak the truth here.
ReplyDelete+1 Superdave
ReplyDeleteStick with the pv gazette or whatever the fuck shit ..im thinking pd &fd will be okay without ya, pussy
ReplyDeleteMembers of the fire department are justifiably upset that a member of their department died in a senseless incident. They are a passionate, close group that deserves the opportunity to mourn in the way such a group does. They will ultimately come to the realization that the officer acted as he had to given the circumstances and resolve the conflict they currently feel between their loss and how it happened. Give them time.
ReplyDelete+1 to Super.
ReplyDeleteShould make him a regular feature. Common sense approach to a tragic situation.
No self pimping their comedy club, womanizing, or spewing football picks under the false premise of gambling on sucker bets.
Dave, first of all there is nothing Super about you, dumbass. With that said, your comments were well spoken , although we could have done without the JOCO reference. Douche boi !
ReplyDeleteHmmm, could because he doesn't own a comedy club.
ReplyDeleteToo goddamn ugly and goofy to "womanize".
And don't know a fuckin thing about gambling,
Or anything else for that matter.
That ever cross your mind?
6:54 you only say that because you don't know him. But chuckle how you praise him, then turn around and talk shit on him.
ReplyDeleteSuperdave +2
ReplyDelete7:02 - ever cross you mind that your petty attempts to put down only reinforce my point.
ReplyDeleteGive it up glazer can smell your shit a mile away. Even the dogs stopped caring.
