Just a quick update on the old, busted, icy and dangerous Kansas City streets this morning ...
Here's the overall perspective from the KCPD Chief of police:
"Between 6:00 - 8:30 KCPD received 38 non-injury accidents and 7 injury accidents mostly in the south part of the city"
In Midtown there are a TON OF SLICK ICY SPOTS which threaten pedestrians and drivers alike...
The Winter Weather Advisory continues ...
Weather ladies seem exceptionally excited ...
School closings are adding up . . .
Buses around KCMO are running about 5-10 minutes behind...
And so we want to remind TKC readers to be careful and maybe stay basement bound and witness the driving and coping skills of Kansas City continue to deteriorate.

ReplyDeleteIt is bad in places out there. I slid across a parking lot for about 20 ft.
ReplyDeleteI am calling in sick.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the upset hubby posts, Tony? Inquiring minds want to know.
ReplyDeleteWhy won't these folks slow down when the streets are wet with rain, snow or ice?
ReplyDeleteI'm lightin' up a pipe of dope right now. Fuck the ice.
ReplyDeleteBite me. I got my contract.
ReplyDeleteBush's fault.
ReplyDeleteI hope Byron didn't call in sick, the whole country could come to a standstill.
ReplyDeleteWhich city manager and public works director are you blaming, 10:13? Seems like it's bad all over.
ReplyDelete12:07 HA !
ReplyDeleteWhat a bunch of whiny pussies! Slow down , stay home or suck it up. You pansies think it's the city's fault because it gets cold and rains. You all must be from Johnson county. Kansans can't drive in a straight line.
ReplyDeleteAnother day of seasonal weather that has been blown the hell out of proportion by the Kansas City Stars. I swear if it takes a bachelors degree to do weather in this town a sanitation worker ought to have a PHD.
ReplyDeleteNorthland streets cleaned, trash hauled off, and negros jailed. Good day in the Northland.
