ReplyDeleteSOMEONE RUN AGAINST THIS WIGGY JERK!!
Someone run against Tindall and all the retreads that concocted this bullshit.
ReplyDeleteTindall must go!
Sanders must go!
I'm giving the ladies a chance to get it right but those who have used the Jackson County legislature as a career move must go, immediately.
Teresa, Crystal and Tindall need to pack their purses and clear out of the courthouse NOW!!! worthless shits.
ReplyDeleteTHE WILL OF THE MUTHER FUCKING PEOPLE<<<< BI-OTCH!
ReplyDeleteGoodbye Mike!
ReplyDeleteGarza Ruiz in city hall... FAT CHANCE!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Lumpen-prole have spoken!!
ReplyDeleteWho says revolution can't be fueled by a diet o high fructose corn syrup?!
8:12 Shut up Johnson County. Ask voters to pay for the damn tax where you live. Guess what? You're part of the Lumpen-prole yourself. Your better than us lowly Jackson County folk...? Not likely. After all you're commenting on TKC! Real rich, classist people have better things to do and they certainly don't use email, internet or blogs. You are a fake! Very judgemental but most of all FAKE!

ReplyDeleteSanders is WIGGING OUT. Worst political move in your career will guarantee you will never work in JaCo in a leadership role again.
ReplyDelete"Read my lips: no new taxes"
ReplyDeleteJames Tindall and is prostate cancer can go to hell!
ReplyDeleteWhy did someone think this was a good idea? What titans of industry conceived this befuddlement and should be avoided?
ReplyDeleteWhere are the 1300 people who voted for this crap? Idiots in hiding no doubt.
ReplyDeleteLISA HONN, now what? Turn state's evidence?
ReplyDeleteAlvin Brooks endorsements stays LOSING!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Question 1 crowd never sealed the deal with urban liberals, who form the base of any ballot proposal to raise taxes.
ReplyDeleteBy choosing the sales tax to fund their private proposal, the Civic Council alienated the proposal from those urban liberals.
Urban liberals understand the basic injustice at the core of any sales tax proposal.
There is no good reason to use the (regressive) sales tax to fund private gain.
When you add that well-reasoned liberal opposition to the slobbering morons who vote no on every tax, it adds up to a LANDSLIDE win for the NO campaign.
Tony is not even reporting the 85 percent NO from Eastern Jackson County -- they have a separate board of elections Amego!
90% of the voters say "hell no" to more taxes.
ReplyDelete9:04 PM
ReplyDeleteYep, as soon as they put her under some lights and tell her to pee in a cup. Why do time on corruption and drug charges sweetie?
Jim Nutter killed Mike Sanders chance of getting out of Jackson County with an elected position tonight.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS TO ALL JACKSON COUNTY RESIDENTS WHO VOTED AGAINST QUESTION 1....TODAY YOU DEFEATED THE CORPORATE/POLITICAL ELITE WHO WERE ATTEMPTING TO CONFISCATE MORE OF YOUR MONEY.
ReplyDeleteI SALUTE YOU AND SINCERELY HOPE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SURVIVE THE ONGOING RECESSIONARY TIMES WITHOUT UNDUE BURDENS BEING PLACED UPON YOUR SHOULDERS. MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
Special thanks to Tony Botello and this website for daring to venture where few metro-area newsies dare to tread!
Bye, Bye, Sly!
ReplyDeleteThe amount of money to put this on the ballot was crazy. I mean did they hope low turnout would pass it? They should be voted out next election for wasting or money and insulting our intelligence.
ReplyDeleteSkippy and all the career county poltiicians are getting their asses handed to them tonight.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed some suggest Nutter was behind this tax.
Nutter's wigged-creature named Sanders met the villagers with the torches and pitch forks tonight.
ReplyDeleteAs Jeff Roe pointed out a few weeks ago, Sanders has no organization.
Sanders has never faced a contested election until tonight.
11/5/13, 9:29 PM
ReplyDeleteNutter was behind it. Nutter wanted to bequest Children's Mercy a huge some of money, by creating a tax for them. He then told his slaves at the county to put it on the ballot. Garza and Williams held out for a job for their friend.
Fix the god-damned horrendous streets first and then the shameful schools. Then, and only then, will I vote for higher taxes. What a bunch of asshat Republicans wanting this stupid tax in the first place.

JIM FITZPATRICK RUN FOR MIKE'S SEAT!!!!!!!!!!
As Jeff Roe pointed out a few weeks ago, Sanders has no organization.
ReplyDeleteWell that was clear after tonight.
9:36 PM
ReplyDeleteAmen
Nutter's wigged-creature Mike Sanders is done in this county. We remember the property tax debacle; we will really remember this effort to pillage and loot the population to make the rich richer. Chickens coming home to roost, right in that wig.
ReplyDeleteYou know if I had one of those there fax machines I bet we could have won this.
ReplyDeleteOh well, I got my money.
(As reported by Jeff Roe)
Jeff Roe ran this campaign! He should be run out of town, or at least to Leawood where all the tax supporters came from!
ReplyDeleteJeff was hampered by Glorioso, Sanders, Williford and O'Neill.
ReplyDeleteMissy Roe best get her ass street side. Sure if she puckered those lips right she could give a mean blowjob. She going to be the bread winner for a while since this loss will not make Jeff so bankable.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the Chamber.
ReplyDeleteThey tried to cram this down taxpayers throats.
Mr. Tony,
ReplyDeleteWe are not done with this hot mess just yet.
No sir.
Mr. Sanders will be looking for someone to lay the blame on. He will start motor mouthing about how this wasn't his baby. Mr. Skippy Sanders freaks out easily.
Monsieurs Roe, Glorioso and O'Neill have already shook hands and called it a day. They get paid win or lose. They will put the still born at Sanders' feet.
The bad deal brokered with the Ladies of 12th Street will be a constant reminder of this electoral screwing.
Jackson County Executive seat is now in play.
I like the idea of Jim Fitzpatrick making a virgin run for the seat.
And once again Mr. Tony, you have helped to turned the tide. Well done Mi hijo, well done!
I agree with 9:17, this was the wrong way to fund research, with a regressive tax. While funding research may be a very admirable goal, it should not be on the backs of poor people. This is especially true, since the bulk of the tax is going to private companies with grant writers. It's a shame the county spent $800,000 of taxpayer money for this one issue election. Someone made a major strategic error thinking he or she could fool the voters into staying home.
ReplyDelete9:36, do you consider Nutter, Skippy, Westbrook, Williams, Ruiz etc. to be Republicans? Look again!
ReplyDeleteNutter and the Hall family. Tea Party Republicans. Yes.
ReplyDeleteSkippy and Ruiz are. The others no.
ReplyDeleteNutter is rich and eventually he thinks like a rich man. That means he would support a tax to coerce us to make rich hospital executives even more rich.
ReplyDeleteFuck you you bastards! Mr. Pendergast would have you all shot! Vote for the taxes we tell you to vote for Sheep!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how Laraza feels now.
ReplyDelete9:56 PM and 9:17 have it right.
ReplyDeleteLynn we will pay for the more than $1 Million spent by the Yes side in higher prices too
Mr. Tony,
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering, what does Clinton Adams expect from this defeat?
10:02 PM Laughing all the way to the bank like usual.
ReplyDelete10:06 PM
ReplyDeleteCash
Please make this the poster child for business hubris.

ReplyDeleteWell, the Chamber had 5 big ideas and translational medicine was just the first: bring on the other 4 and let's put an end to their arrogant reign.
ReplyDeleteThey will be back. Be vigilant
ReplyDeleteWe were experimented on.. let the next generation get experimented on.. see you at the NSM Rally at the Jackson County Court House on Nov 9th!
