Fox4 does a bit of in-depth reporting on a nearby high school ruckus . . .
High school sophomore’s anti-gay tweets lead to suspension
The tweet in question . . .

Response from the twerp in question: "I think it’s my right to say what I want"
Instead of asking about why her son is thinking about gay people so much, the mom in the story says the disciplinary measures are too strict.
Other than the fact that I'm surprised ANY OF THIS made the news . . . The lesson here is just another reminder that social media discourse might be constitutionally protected in many instances but still has consequences nonetheless . . . For instance, fat chicks aren't nearly as nice to TKC as they used to be . . . Sniffle.
How is this even a school matter?
ReplyDeleteGood for the kid. This isn't a sxhool matter. Stand up to the gay mafia.
ReplyDeleteIf he had been a college professor it would have been OK. That would make it a free speech issue but we all know high school's don't recognize that amendment.
ReplyDeleteWho said free speech has to be intelligent? Obviously this kid has issues (most likely he's a currently repressed homo). Maybe it's a good thing he gets them out in the open.
ReplyDeleteHe was threatening violence. Any kid who threatens violence, even with a picture, should be disciplined. It's happened to many kids before him.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, TKC is abreast of gay issues.
ReplyDeleteMight as well learn that there's no more free speech while he's still young.
ReplyDeleteFunny that he's so adamant about his opinions, but is too uncomfortable to have his face shown in the video.
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't want his face shown so he won't be embarrassed when he weds his same-sex partner in a few years.

ReplyDeleteWhat he'll learn is anonymous hate speech, like the adults.
Gays are an important part of the new vibrant creatives so important to the future of this great city!
ReplyDeleteThere is a gay mafia???
ReplyDeleteI bet they wear fabulous suits.
8:29- Ridiculous. Who was he threatening with violence?
ReplyDeleteAnd, even if he was, which he wasn't, how is it the schools' business?
For all you right wing constitutional experts, 1st amendment means the government cannot punish, jail, censure...your speech, it does not guarantee that you will not suffer consequences for it. Hell, the kid is on the media complaining, doesn't sound like his speech has been restricted.
ReplyDeleteThe gun and the stick figures isn't threatening violence, 10:24?
ReplyDeleteWhen you are wacked by the gay mafia, you are really wacked. It seems the love that dare not speak its name, as Oscar Wilde called it, will not shut up!
