KC Biz Journal confirms our suspicions that we're enjoying the last days of Trolley Track Trail with this "look at how the city could resurrect the old Country Club line for the streetcar. A key added benefit to the line is that the city already holds rights of way for a path running from near the Country Club Plaza all the way to 85th Street and Prospect Avenue — just a short hop from where Cerner Corp. plans a massive project."
Accordingly . . .
D-BAGS WHO BELIEVE BNIM OR PROMISES FROM CITY HALL ARE ABOUT TO GET RUN OVER BY THE REALITY THAT CITY HALL OWNS TROLLEY TRACK TRAIL AND THERE'S NOWHERE ELSE TO PUT THE TOY TRAIN STREETCAR IN THAT NEIGHBORHOOD!!!
It's really amazing how "transit advocates" are able to fool locals with happy talk and motion graphics in power point.
More in a bit . . .

No it's really amazing how fucking stupid residents in Kansas City really are.
ReplyDeletePreserving the Trolley Trail was one of the stated reasons some people were opposed to the Waldo Walmart. Of course it would have been okay to cut through it for a Hen House.
ReplyDeleteWithout the trolly trail, where will the rapists cruise?
ReplyDeletewrong.
ReplyDeletethe kcata owns the trail
the city does not control the kcata.
