Forces in Kansas City are starting to collaborate against an upcoming Nazi hate rally.

There's word the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and KCPD are already planning an increased presence for the rally.
Makes sense and probably useful just to manage the flow of TV camera crew traffic.
Reps from KC's chapter of the National Lawyer's Guild have offered to provide legal observers.
Nazis and Klansmen might spout a lot of hateration regarding the government BUT they're often extremely litigious . . . So it'll be important for THE GROWING NUMBER OF COUNTER-PROTESTORS to keep it legal.

He's somewhat local and maybe an even worse advocate for the Northland than our current crop of City Council members.
Still, it's important to keep a clear perspective on this one . . . While Nazis claim their protest could draw "thousands" of like-minded dweebs to the Courthouse . . . It's also very likely that counter-rallies and media will outnumber celebrants of Kristallnacht who want to play dress-up long after Halloween.

The Double Eagles have come home to roost at Skippy's doorstep. One thing is for sure. Skippy will not be at his desk. He never shows up for work. ReplyDeleteI don't agree with the Nazis and Klan holding a rally in KC, so I'm going to conduct a protest against them....which will only draw more attention to them, increase the odds of media coverage, and give them an opponent to attack.
